h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I would like to apply for 3 different positions. I, with a little help from the reception staff, found your little list of meeded jobs. First i would like to apply for the job of someone who puts fresh flowers in the rooms. i feel that it would be a nice friendly gesture and that could encourage people to stay with the HHH. I'm not sure if we offer that service but think it would be a good idea. I would also like the job of a travel coordinator of sorts for the guests. That may take a little time as I intend to make a page compiling some of hootoos attractions. I would be nice if i had some sort of office for that so people could come and talk to me about package deals abd whatnot... near the loby might be a good idea if you have a spare room. The last position I would like to apply for is that of medical assistant. i don't want to be the actual medical officer, but I would like to be the assistant. I could handle small issues while the actual medical person is out. If you accept my application for all 3 positions I would request that I could have the Tower Room (recently created by me... I talked to the reception staff and they told me perminent residents had jobs... so here i am...)permenantly no rent, I require no other form of payment, other than the previously mentioned salary.

Thank you for your applications. Personally, I am not in charge of accepting applications, but I can give you advice on what the person that is in charge of accepting applications is likely to say.

For your first application of flower decorator, I would say that this would be accepted and that courtesy flowers would be a great complement to guests. Footbacon has an Everything We Need device in Shade's toolroom; you could get the flowers from there if you so wish.

For your second application, I would say that a travel assistant is a very good idea, and it should not be a problem to establish an office for you.

For your third idea, I think it is best that you visit the h2g2 Hospital at A2682713 and ask Feuille, our medic, if you could be the assistant of the medic. (I see you are a member of the Assassins Guild; is a job in health care really suited to you? )

well...um... i just threw medic in there incase i struck out on the first two. but if you need anyone neutralized i'm always happy to oblige...for a small fee, after all our slogan is no killing without payment. i wouldnt want to break rules, otherwise i'd do it for free... if i get my tower room. do you have a resident assassin?

We do not have a resident assassin, and we don't need one either. We do have a polar bear, however, called Hilary, who is the property of our entertainment manager.

Thank you for your applications. I agree with BB, I think that a flower decorator would be a suitable job and Travel Co-Ordinator would also be a good idea, though we do have a Social Secretary, Vestboy, who has been organizing parties etc, so perhaps you could collaborate with him...

For the medics assistant job, I'm not sure as yet whether we would need one. We have only recently employed Feuille as our medic and am not sure whether or not she needs any assistance. By all means though, go ahead and ask

i'll try and start on the travel page, but i dont know when it will be done... i'm in the midst of cleaning my room right now, and its taking longer than i suspected it would. but i'll start on the flowers right away. if you end up needing a medical assistant let me know otherwise never mind about it...

ok, i need help. i cant think of what sort of attractions you're looking for. if its clubs you want i can give a great list. but i can only seem to find information entryson things like beaches, and things like that. i'm totally open to suggestions. i know this is a hotel but does h2g2 have anything for non permenant residents? i'm totally stumped, but i want to make this happen. so anything would help.

What kind of clubs have you found?

I just had a look in the classifieds- A630019 and found a circus

The circus is here A1127855 and there was a park too A325180
There are quite a few bars, but I'd rather keep our bar as the one that we use

Shade pointed out to me thatthere is a Weddings Service place here A2669097 , which i thought we could collaborate with.

There are also a couple of stores that have been pointed out to me, the bazaar A730414 and a convenience store A401239

But I can't find any beaches either Anyway, hope this helps you a bit. One thing I thought of was, when you are going to link to a place on hootoo, for instnce, if you were going to link to the circus entry. Then if you could perhaps ask the researcher that made the page if they'd like to give a link to the HHH on their page too.
