Here's one for paul:
In a factory in Booton, the landlord had let the exterior fall appart, so that flues adn shafts were exposed to the open air. One season, a family of shorebirds started nexting in one of the ducts and soo there were baby burdies flapping about. Well, all except one, which never learned to fly and would often fall into the gutters. Whenever anyone asked about it, Ziggy would say, "That's an odd turn of the vents."

filled with birds, as if they couldn't fly
wherever they wanted to without an airplane.
