Lets see randomly off the top of my head some of Detroit's finer points - Aretha Franklin, Chevrolet's Corvette, Albert Kahn's Fisher Bldg., Barry Gordy's Motown Records, Robin Williams, Detroit Institute of Arts, Madonna, Joe Louis, Ford Thunderbird, Eminem, Stanley Cup Champion Red Wings, Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, Belle Isle, Lily Tomlin, Diego Rivera Murals, Pewabic Potery, World's Largest Fireworks display at the International Freedom Festival, Wright Museum of African American History, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Chrysler Prowler, Kid Rock, Stevie Wonder, The Detroit River connector of the Great Lakes...

I would miss Eminem, elwood, but the rest (most of it)- I agree with you.
I hate cities, to be honest, and wouldn't care much for New York, London, Paris or Rome. I know I live in one, but at heart I'm still a country girl. Anyway, Jerusalem is different.
And Pauly, from lots of experience, if you let the terrorists scare you and limit your life in any way- they won.

I'd say so. And you know why I was scared, so don't give me that!
I don't want to vanish. Infact- I don't want to know anyone who *Makes me* want to vanish.
And I got as 100% on my QA so

Lots of things scare me, Elly.
Terrorists don't even make my
top-10 list. But thanks for the thought.
I was just using that to justify things
I was going to do (or not do) anyway.
London, Paris, and New York have some beautiful
places that are worth seeing. I just wasn't
that interested in what I saw of Chicago.
San Francisco I would see again. I love the tea
garden in Golden Gate Park.

I love San Francisco!!!
I've had fun every time I visit Chicago, which is about once a year.
Elly I don't think I would like living in a city full time, but visiting them sure is interesting and exciting!
Hurry back Shea. I got some Christmas to share!

*never been anywhere anyone has mentioned*
Oh - yeah, forgot about that high school field trip to the museum of natural history in NY. That was the *only* thing I saw there, so it hardly counts as seeing NY.
Anyone know when Shea is expected back?

Wherever you go, there you are.
I couldn't think of anything else to say
so I tried for something profound.
Ok so I failed.
