Whenever I discover a cool new word, I like to think of ways to insert it into conversations. Unfortunately, tessellation and solipsism don't fit in many conversations.

Isn't it an anthropological term implying that certain cultural aspects have transcend a specified territorial boundaries - with reterritorialisation implying the opposite

the word was german, but i guess deterritorialisiert means the same as reterritoryalized in english
and i guess the artist means that a strech of land that once was meant to be a territory ( = for the taking by a certain conqueror) is now once again a free country
or something
