Muppets are puppets. Most of them were created by the late Jim Henson. They are made of felt and plastic and rubber and other substances. I don't know what the digestive system of a can handle, so I can't tell you if you could [or would or should] eat one.

My stomach doesn't *need* to sing. That's what I have vocal cords for, and they get pretty busy sometimes.

I'd prefer that the muppets kept talking or singing. If they stopped, I would think something was wrong with the sound.
