A lot of people could relate to Elvis. He had his comfort foods. He crooned in a way that was very endearing. However, even his greatest apologists admitted that his acting never really found its most fulfilling levels. Never mind, though. The best of his movies were entertaining, and we have plenty of recordings of his singing. He could have done a lot worse with his life.
