I've used a cpap breathing machine for years.

After about 6 months, my blood changed color from charcoal black to red.smiley - biggrin

If you go back enough generations, you find royals in your lineage. If they're far enough back, though, they probably eat with their fingers and chase smiley - divasmiley - diva in order to indulge the droit du seigneur. smiley - winkeye*

As dark as venous blue can be.

Curiously, while 100% oxygen helps, plain ol', plain ol', air at slightly elevated pressure works better for recharging oxygen depleted blood that's turned blue from excess carbon dioxide, which is the principle of the cpap machine.

He was 89

Of all the male singers in the 50s and 60s I liked him best. Better even than Sinatra. Sammy Davis, Eddie Fisher, and Perry Como were great, too, as was Nat "King" Cole. Really, there was a huge cohort of talented guys in those days. I'm sure I've left out some worthy ones...

Baron Grim

Well, it depends on how broadly you define the Rat Pack. I looked at the wiki article and clicked on all the names listed as members and even "visiting members". Of the 1950s era, none are still alive. Of the 1960s era only Shirley MacLaine and Angie Dickinson are still around (through 15 Feb, '17).

I thought Liza Minnelli was an honorary member, because her mother was Judy Garland. Or am I getting confused? smiley - blush

Baron Grim

I suppose you could consider her so. She did briefly perform with Sammy Davis, Jr. and Frank Sinatra replacing Dean Martin after his death on a tour eventually called _The Ultimate Event Tour_.

That's as good a qualification I suppose as Dickinson and MacLaine who were only considered "Rat Pack Mascots".
