The Ministry

Well, things are starting to take off a bit at The Ministry of BLACK, at the last count I was up to 13 Disciples and the task is being carried out. I decided to log on as a different user for the Ministry, mainly to avoid signing Ministry threads as Bassman, which has not been thoroughly successful smiley - blue I find I do lots of my online time when I'm tired, so I forget....

I spent tome time "Up North" last week, and called in on Galaxy Babe on the way South. I was treated to a warm reception and copious coffee and sarnies, what a pal she is smiley - biggrin

Been riding my motorbike to work this week, mainly in an attempt to keep the mileage down on the car, plus I need the practise if I intend to get something a bit bigger when I've accumulated some no-claims.

Aaaahhhhh.

Well - that's me caught up with all my threads having been away for a while. I've updated all my drop-down menus, as the GuideML tags have been changed, and I didn't know - until Ottox clued me in.

London meet up.

I'm counting down the days to the London meet up, I can hardly wait. I've been disappointed on at least three occasions before, my shifts have changed at the last minute so I couldn't attend the last few, but this time I will succeed!!! smiley - biggrin

Bike Mirrors

I was bought some new mirrors for my bike (a humble GS500E) for Chrimbo, just fitted them yesterday. What an amazing difference. They don't vibrate, and I can see more than just the view of my shoulders!! smiley - biggrin

I had a pleasant ride out in order to try them, bit cold but refreshing none the less. Went out again today - jolly freezing, turned for home after 10 minutes. I was going past the shop I'd set out for on my way to work, so I could afford to wimp out.

I had a new back tyre fitted recently, which still isn't scrubbed in properly - let's face it the weather this time of year in blighty is hardly conducive to wearing the knee sliders - unless you're a little unhinged!!

smiley - cool

Digs

Got myself along to my digs last night as I'd heard of a severe weather warning that would make things awkward for me in the morning. I'm generally in the habbit of leaving at about 4am, so fog and ice would not have been condusive to arriving at work on time. I got in round about 11:15pm. At midnight there was a noise to wake the dead going on outside - don't fear it didn't last long - not outside at any rate. The four partygoers turned out to be two of my housemates and their girlfriends.... smiley - grr

Needless to say I didn't get the beauty sleep I so richly deserved smiley - blue
