Mini - Meet

Looks like I might be off to a mini meet with my old mucker Line Walker tonight. Looking forward to that, we've been threatening this for some months now. I'll let you all know how it goes

Drive to work.

Sorted out an alternate route to get me here last night, made it in one calm piece today.
Having logged on I was very disappointed to find the way that one of my conversations had gone. I was more or less accused of being a dirty old man - not impressed.

Cake

I'm almost at the end of my day shift, I'll have to go out and dice with death again in half an hour or so!!
I'm baking a cake at present, I can smell it from the office - wonderful. I'm sure it will go down a storm with the night shift - maybe there'll be some left in the morning!!

Heathrow Traffic

Got thoroughly stressed driving to work this morning. It's my first day shift since I've been here and quite frankly I wish it was the last. It's only 4 - 5 miles, but the roundabout at the turning for the airport, off the M4, is Hell on Earth!!
Despite that when I took my blood pressure when I got to work, it was very good - for me. I have a kidney problem which tends to elevate my BP, so I bought a wrist monitor a month or so ago.
