I was informed just recently by my Ex, that our old next door neighbour, who I thought was a good friend no longer wants to see me. I'm not the guy I was when we moved in apparently. What sort of an excuse is that..... It would have been nice to have been told first hand as well, but beggars can't be choosers I suppose. 
Well I suppose if I'm honest with myself, I do know what sort of an excuse it is, I actually thought I was a better person for some of the recent changes in my life, I suppose it just goes to show how shallow some people can be. It's her loss I'm afraid..... That said it doesn't make it any less of a bitter pill to swallow. I always enjoyed her company and the banter that flowerd when she was about.
I will miss her.

Ministry of BLACK

Got the first "Disciple" at the Ministry of BLACK today. I don't know what our direction will be as a group I suppose I will have to sort that out before too long, else people won't want to join.
I don't see us as "Bad Guys", you've all been watching too many cowboy flicks - the bad guys always wear black..... 
I've made up some silly rules for postings in BLACK conversations, I wonder how willingly they will get followed. It's just a bit of fun after all...... Isn't it?

I've just re-strung my Basses - about time too I think, the strings have been on there since May. Trouble was I think I'd broken one so had to replace them, then we did one gig then had an extended break.
I use a none too readily available type of string, which I have to go out of my way to get hold of. I think they're worth it!! 
Went out for a fantastic meal on Sunday night - a friend's birthday bash, it was the first time I'd had Thai, but it won't be the last......

Didn't go so well (at all in fact). Poor old L-W got very busy in the afternoon and couldn't make it. I spoke to him on the phone though, so I suppose that counts for something!!
