No no no! They can look like anything they want to look like. As long as their shape allows it. Some would do good lamp-posts, others good beanpoles. Why is it that the world of clothes/shoes/TV/whatever seems to ignore those who are thin-but-small, fat-but-small and fat-but-tall? Only the thin-but-tall seem to be able to buy things and there are only, wot, 8 in the world?

What shape is Fred the Cheese? If, indeed he is of shape at all.

Why he is any shape your imagination allows, definatly small though.

It is good to be small I find, considering the fact that i am actually taller than you Ming that might sound a little mean, it was not intended so.

Ah, you may be VERY SLIGHTLY taller than me, Jen, but I, er I...have my Philosophies From A Small Corner (see my home page) and what's wrong with being small? Nothings wrong with being small, I just imagined Fred the Cheese as being microscopic and then infinitively large, and there really wasn't much difference in his personality and intelligence, only that he was slightly different in size...

I expect to fully understand you have to read an awfull lot of forum, i think it was fred the Ameoba that was infinitely large, therefore enveloping every one of us. And this time he really is an amoeba, deffinatly NOT a jellyfish

Actually, I have read a lot of the forum, but I'm sure you'll agree, there's an awful lot of it so I may not have managed it all yet... And, yes, fred the amoeba is definitely an amoeba. But I'd like to point out that Fred the Cheese is not infinitely large, it's just that I imagined him to be, so, obligingly, he was. But he's not usually, and he's not now.

And have you any idea where my Philosophies From A Small Corner have got to? They seem to have gone again...!

Yeah, I have, I think they've gone wild on my bedroom floor. I have made a copy, but it seems to have gone too.
We've also managed to lose a locust on our kitchen floor...

Jim the Wonder Llama (back from yonder)

Have you tried in that birds nest at the top of the hat-tree? I understand the bird that lives there is quite a hoarder.

Post 212

Jenny and Fred the cheese

ha yes, he took my hat pin

Post 213

Ming Mang

How careless of you to leave a hat-pin where a bird that nests on top of a hat stand can reach it! And did you know that a breed of rats are called 'thief rats' because they took things that they liked. Usually shiny things. But they ALWAYS left something in exchange for what they took!

Bluebottle

That happens whenever anyone is robbed - something is left behind instead of what was taken. Normally it is called "a space". smiley - sadface

Post 215

Ming Mang

Yeah, I meant that they left something other than a space, like a twig or leaf or something...
And you appear to have gained something on the end of your name, Bluebottle.

Post 216

Jenny and Fred the cheese

perhapse what they were really doing was trying to make people see the true nature of twigs and leaves, ie better than shiny things. Or perhapse not.

I know - my name seems to have these growths of several letters now and then.. It's odd. I'm thinking about going to the Doctors - I hope it's benign. smiley - sadface

They can't have been that popular as I've never heard of them.

Bluebottle's constantly changing name keeps me occupied. I have to keep changing the link on my page.

Or you could just link me as "Bluebottle" - a lot less work!
