Hitchhikers Guide to Hell
Bluebottle Posted May 8, 2019

Into the Gap -Thompson Twins
It’s Only Rock & Roll - Rolling Stones
I’ve Been Expecting You - Robbie Williams

Horrible Hot
Bluebottle Posted May 9, 2019
Today I am mostly hearing:
'HMS Pinafore' – Gilbert & Sullivan
'Horrible Histories' [OST]
'Hot Rocks: 1964-1971' – The Rolling Stones
HMS Pinafore is the most-annoying Gilbert & Sullivan operetta to write about on h2g2. The Edited Guide rules are that for ship names the prefix is in normal text (ie HMS, USS or, in the case of a pirate ship, RRR) while the ship name is in italics, yet as 'HMS Pinafore' is the name of the operetta it all has to be in italics, which looks wrong.
And that's the end of H

Today's music is:
'Imagine' – John Lennon
'Imagine: John Lennon' – [OST]
'In Blue' – The Corrs
'In Concert: Brandeis University 1963' – Bob Dylan
'In Time: The Best of REM 1988-2003' – REM
Feel free to guess J&K.

Bluebottle Posted May 10, 2019
Some good guesses there, Icy – but I'm disallowing two.
James Bond Themes <- These came under the title 'Best of Bond, James Bond, The '
Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of the War of the Worlds – Okay, I had filed it under 'War of the Worlds, The' but 'Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of' is clearly on the front cover. In smaller letters, but definitely there.
Jimi Hendrix at the Isle of Wight <- Yes, but under the title 'Blue Wild Angel: Jimi Hendrix Live at the Isle of Wight', so no points 'cos I've already mentioned it.
John Wesley Harding -Bob Dylan
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat <- My daughter performed this last year.

Blue Wild Angel! I never knew that
Fun fact. David Gilmour of Pink Floyd happened to be in the crowd, and he got roped into doing the sound mixing for this concert.

A lot of people were at the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival – 600,000+ according to the GuinnessBook of Records, almost twice Woodstock making it the biggest festival in the ever at the time:

Today I am mostly hearing:
'Infidels' – Bob Dylan
'Invisible Band, The' - Travis
'It's Madness' - Madness
'It's Madness Too' - Madness
'Jive Bunny's Summer Party' – Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers
So 3½ hours of Jive Bunny. Don't blame it on the sunshine, don't blame it on the moonlight, don't blame it on the good times, blame it on the bunny…

Live at Wembley ‘86 - Queen

SashaQ - happysad Posted May 15, 2019
Wow indeed
Labyrinth wasn't a guess, as I had seen you mention it in conversations a few months ago and made a note, but I nearly missed posting it here as I didn't realise it was the very first album for today! Classic album indeed
I have Gangnam Style in my Just Dance computer game - it is well choreographed (unlike The Timewarp which doesn't match the moves I remember from my youth ) but not one of my favourite tunes - I prefer Blondie's Heart of Glass and Queen's Another One Bites the Dust
More L Guesses:
Live in New York City - John Lennon
Live Peace in Toronto 1969 - Plastic Ono Band
Live at Leeds - The Who
Living in the Past - Jethro Tull
