Dead End
Bluebottle Posted Apr 17, 2019
Today I'll finish listening to the last of the Ds:
Dr Strangelove: Music from the Films of Stanley Kubrick
Dreamboats and Petticoats Volume 1
Dreamboats and Petticoats Volume 2
Driving Rain – Paul McCartney
Dune - Toto
Dylan and the Dead – Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead
So the D albums began with 'Dead Ringer' and ends with 'Dylan and the Dead' – hence the 'Dead to Dead' title earlier…

Today I am mostly hearing:
The Early Beatles (US equivalent to 'Please Please Me')
Ecce Cor Meum – Paul McCartney (an oratorio)
The Ed Sullivan Shows and Hollywood Bowl Outtakes – the Beatles (an album of tracks that are out of copyright)
Egypt Station – Paul McCartney
Electric Arguments – The Fireman (really Paul McCartney)
There appears to be a common theme...

Electric Exile or Early Eyes?
Bluebottle Posted Apr 23, 2019
Today I'm hearing:
ELV1S – Elvis Presley
Enterprise – Music from the Television Series
Essential Michael Jackson
The Essential Wedding Collection (my wife bought this to be background music during a special occasion, can't remember what.
Everything to Everyone – Barenaked Ladies
Exile on Main St – The Rolling Stones
Eyes Open – Snow Patrol
Funny thing about Snow Patrol was I saw them live in 2004 as one of the minor, support acts at the Isle of Wight Festival, in 2005 they returned as a headline act. (I didn't go to the 2005 Isle of Wight Festival as it clashed with me listening to 'The Essential Wedding Collection' for the first time).

Fly on the Wall - AC/DC
Flying Colours - Chris de Burgh
For Your Pleasure - Roxy Music
The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan
Freak Out
The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan was Dylan's second album and epitomises his protest writing at its best. His first album had flopped and most people at Columbia thought he was talentless. 'Freewheelin' was a UK number 1, but only 22 in the US. Still, it is usually listed in the top 100 albums of all time.
Bonus points are still available for identifying the Isle of Wight album. But you can start guessing Gs now.

Yes, The Bees are an Isle of Wight band and there was a real buzz about their second album, 'Free The Bees', when it was released.
