Used to get something like that in military portable field rations, hollow tubes of pretzel, filled with cheese, not bad at all, if not in a class with crunchy, freeze-dried meat patties.

A good sausage is good eating. I know, since I grew up in the land of sausages and sauerkraut
It's hard to get a good sausage here 
Danes seem to believe that sausages should consist mostly of wheat flour and food colour 
But I have to admit they have the good sense of putting them in a bun and cover them with 
ketchup, mustard, raw or roasted onions and a certain kind of cold sauce known as remoulade:

Just returned from my ex-brother-in-law's funeral
Met a lot of people I haven't seen for decades. Which was nice
Heard of a few who couldn't come because they had died or are dieing

Just got in from the pub, with the missus who is quite squiffy, she's out for the count on the sofa, her sister who's brought her brood over too to "run" with mine! While I'm finishing off the harvest..... which is nearly and its been a good one too, the vicar was also in the pub and she was singing
