I'm about to lunch on paella, then go off to a dry shopping mall for some walking. I need to get back home before the snow starts. The rain/snow line will probably be close to my area.

Lentil, Potato, and Ham Soup

Spice Mixture

¼ tsp of garlic powder
¼ tsp of dried thyme
¼ tsp of dried sage
1/4/ tsp of rosemary
Pepper to taste
1 tsp of celery seed

Other Ingredients

1 tbsp of olive oil
4 cups of water
¾ cup of green lentils
1 large onion, chopped
8 ounces of carrots (fresh or frozen), sliced
1 potato, peeled and diced
4 to 8 ounces of ham, diced
3 stalks of celery, sliced
1 small can [6 ounces] of tomato paste
