There must be more weevil similes just waiting to intrude stealthily into otherwise normal conversation - 'As happy as a weevil in a gin bottle'? 'As quick as a weevil round a maypole'? I shall report back when I have been able to try these out. Boswell shall be my witness.

Why haven't I heard about this earlier?? I've always wondered what those little weeving creatures are but no one ever believed me when I talked about them... I want to join!!! What was that secret password-code-thing again... "I'd like to..." No... "Worship weevils..." No... Goddammit... Oh, now I've got it:

So sorry for my absence. Work's been rather insane for the last week.
Alien, welcome to the Church of the True Weevil. I'm sure you'll fit right in with the rest of us. Although weevils in general do not weave, I'm sure that there's probably some species not yet identified that specialises in some form of weaving.
