I liked disco music. Too bad it was in fashion for only about a decade.

I've never tried to be anything/anyone but me as such, the "me" developed over time
Not for ego, not for glory, not for profit - I'm a giver not a receiver.
If I can get a smile from someone, where there wasn't one! I've done my job

The thing is, I developed over time, too, and I'm still developing. Fortunately, "developing" does not refer to my waistline. I got that under control (knock wood!)

In the "north" here we have a saying (mainly regarding horses etc)

You don't fatten thoroughbreds!

I found out a few year back I ain't a thoroughbred - weight is an issue now a days

I managed to put my natural tendency toward laziness to good use. With less weight to carry around, it's easier to walk. Eating less gives my mouth less of a workout.
