Sorry for the silence today. First thing this morning I adjusted my PS be way of explanation. No news yet from moderators, but I reckon it may take a day or so for them just to read and assess all this. After all, even in this thread, since I left this morning at 9:30 there have been over 60 postings!

Moderators only read posts made by those who are on pre-mod, or postings which have been yiksed. They don't go anywhere near all of the other activity on site. Based upon how quickly posts come up from those who are on pre-mod I would say that a decision is made about a posting within 8 to 30 minutes.
Yiksed articles and user-pages take longer as they are referred to what was the Community team, ie the h2g2 staff for a decision on their suitability.

Thank you very much for saying that it will stop any unwanted suspicion falling for example on me mrbluesky.
As you may know that im on pre-mod at the moment,i have been watching what has been going on on here.
I do not intend to make the same mistakes as i did before when im off pre-mod,and if i need any help or advice i will go to the ACES who do a fine job on here.
From Phil,mrbluesky.

They should look into it to give a considered reply to my e-mail.

Who is they? If it's a moderator, you'll only get a standard response, as that's all that they can give. If it goes up to the staff, then you might get more.

Well i know if i opened another account while i was on pre-mod,that i would be banned from coming on h2g2,and i dont ever intend to do that.
Yes they should look into it to the e-mail you sent.

I'm not sure who 'they' are. The people that receive e-mails challenging a yikes. The e-mail 'To' box just says 'h2g2', and I hope that means the staff. My e-mail was sent at 6:37 this morning, so may be toward the end of the weekend backlog.

It will be the staff. I imagine they have quite a lot of backlog to get through from the weekend, as you said.

That's no problem Phil, it is a support email. Although yikesings have to via the moderation system which is a different place
But I think we all know that anyway

>>I’m in favour regularly reminding him that this kind of thing in not tolerated on here.
As Kea did a little time back<<
Actually, I'm in favour of ignoring him completely and not responding to him at all. I think responding to him so far has just fed the fire.
I will probably make other researchers aware of the problems however if Liam et al turns up in any of my subsribed pages or threads.
Curing a Problem
I'd just like to offer the observation that anyone changing their name at the moment runs the risk of being mistaken for Liam.
I had this problem with Omni (would this be you Omni - U526798 ?), because he is going by his researcher number now (changed since yesterday?), and I don't know Omni well enough to realise immediately what is going on. For a bit I thought it was you know who.
Ditto the Liam Log/trace thing - U565055. Changing the user name on that has created confusion. Perhaps whoever set up that page wold like to let us know - I can't remember who it is.
