Nails through our nails to hold on our shoes!!?? How horrible! Perhaps we should change our ways before its too late and develop some kind of shoe laces system to hold on horses shoes...

Vestboy Posted Feb 7, 2007
Trainers. Let's invent horses trainers. I'm sure there's money to be made!
*Sigh*
Vestboy Posted Feb 7, 2007
Just realised possible confusion. In the UK trainers is how we refer to the shoes you put on when training or doing sports.

Like running shoes?
And I think thats a brilliant idea! We can have all different colours and styles!

Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Feb 7, 2007
Will the horses be able to put these shoes on themselves? No opposable thumbs, you know.
*Sigh*
Vestboy Posted Feb 7, 2007
They'll probably be easier to put on than the ones they have at the moment.
*Sigh*
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Feb 8, 2007
And much more comfortable too I hope. But Ivan does have a point... I dont suppose we can make the shoes in such a way that they can be put on by the horses? Or should we make it so we have to put them on so the horses are dependent on us for comfortable footwear?

Well I suppose we do have to find a way to keep the upper hand. It's not like they have hands anyway.
*Sigh*
Vestboy Posted Feb 12, 2007
It's their unit of measurement isn't it?
You measure the height of a horse in hands - I expect it's because they wnat you to put your hands near enough for them to tread on or bite.

Ohhh thats very clever of them! I didnt realize they were so devious!
My moms friend has a horse and shes been thrown off twice for no reason, she broke both her legs. Horses like that must be the ones that are starting the revolution.

Vestboy Posted Feb 13, 2007
Didn't she get an inkling of the horse's intent after the first time?
*Imagines woman with broken leg climbing back onto horse which immediately throws her and steps on her good leg*

Arisztid Lugosi Posted Feb 21, 2007
Very much ouch indeed! Too bad for her too, shes had to quit her job as an airline stewardess and she limps all the time now.
You or I might have seen the horses intent the first time... But apparently she didn't. Infact they still have the horse and she lets her little girl ride it. I think she must be nuts!!! ...But some people are just crazy I guess...

Vestboy Posted Feb 23, 2007
The horses hypnotise them! Did you know you have to be part horse to be a hypnotist?
*Sigh*
Vestboy Posted Feb 26, 2007
The bits where it keeps the hypnosis genes. I think that's somwhere between the fetlocks and the stirrups.

Arisztid Lugosi Posted Feb 27, 2007
Hmm... I once had to learn the names of various parts of horses for a Nancy Drew computer game before it would let me ride the horse.... Of course I dont remember any of the parts anymore.
Whereabouts are the fetlocks and stirrups?
