"Smile, you're in Spain"

Is not one of the most reassuring sentences you could wake up to after a drunk night out.

Brain: smiley - dontpanic

Panic immediately sets in. We did seem to be in the taxi for a very long time. Perhaps it took us to the airportsmiley - erm Surely the airport officials wouldn't let fish fly?

Brain: smiley - dontpanic Stop. Think back.

I took my credit card so I did have enough money for the flight. Maybe I should do as the voice says, smile. Well, I didn't think I was going to get away on holiday again this year. I've got plenty of holiday days going spare at work and I could do with the break after all.

Brain: Stop. Survey the surroundings.

Ok, this is it. *Opens eyes*

Gah!!! Sunlight! smiley - headhurts Shut eyes! Shut eyes! Eyes! Eyes!

Brain: Sorry, that wasn't planned out very well. Stop clawing your eyeballs out and use other senses.

*Sniff* Bit smoky, but I think I remember smoking quite a bit more than I usually do when I go out.

*Feel* Spongy, soft. Hammock maybe? No, too steady. No sand anywhere though. Hang on, what's that? Grit off bottom of shoes probably.

*Listen* Someones talking. Is that Spanish? I think it's some form of English. Hang on, no, it's....it's...a political debate!smiley - magic

Brain: Apologies for the last mishap, but your eyes should have become accustomed to the light now.

*Open eyes*

My bedroomsmiley - wowsmiley - magic

*Turns jabbering political talk off with remote control*

Brain: Relax, it was just an advert. Do something about your breath. Find chewing gum.

*Bag search ensues*

*Opens bag* smiley - erm What's this? Half a bottle of Jack Daniels is in my bag...I don't even like JD.

I must have stolen it from that scissor wielding girls house.

Can't get no sleep.....

smiley - bigeyes

I woke up at 3 this afternoon and can't get to sleep now. I went to bed at 3am and have been reading for 3 hours. Maybe in another 3 hours I'll get some kip? I feel like my brain is floating away like a wet cakesmiley - erm

This is going to screw up my sleep for the whole week probably. I had a plan to get me back into the "work sleep pattern", being that, if I wake up at around 8 monday morning, then I'll be tired enough to have a really good kip on monday night. But it's 6.10am nowsmiley - erm I don't think I can last a whole day on 2 hours shuteyesmiley - bigeyes

The light on the back garden won't switch off either. I think it's the Patio door who's persuaded it to stay on, making me subconciously think that it's daytime and shouldn't sleepsmiley - erm I shouldn't have shown that Hitler docuumentary to Patio, I think he's getting ideas...

The doctor said i was paranoid schizophrenic. Well he didn't actually say it but we could tell he was thinking it.
