Tango, then perhaps you should reconsider whom you call stupid, as I am quite capable of intelligent thoughts and actions. I wouldn't be teaching college courses if I wasn't. If your definition had been "anyone who doesn't agree with me," that would have been closer to the truth (as I see it of course).
SEF, I am not attacking anyone. I have asked questions about Tango's actions. I have not called anyone any names, nor said anything about either of you as a person. I have questioned actions and motivations, not who you are as a person. Regarding being blind to Lil's faults...every single person on this planet has faults. Everyone. You, me, Tango, Lil...everyone. You are implying that the only faulty people here are the ones who don't agree with you, which means you're perfect, which I find hard to believe. No one is perfect.

Tango is being fairly stupid himself, wasting so much time on something which isn't going to get him anywhere...

"I wouldn't be teaching college courses if I wasn't."
Actually you are making an unwarranted assumption about employers there.

Have you got the Atled graphics up, Tango? If so, could you give us the link, please?

They should all be there. Please ignore the numbers, they are just version numbers, only the versions on that page were submitted.

Tango, thanks for the link.
SEF, I am finding your attacks on who I am tiresome. All you have done is attack me, when all I have done is asked questions. You have denigrated my intelligence enough. Tango calling me stupid...well, that's being sixteen for you, and some of us are finding that fact amusing, since it seems to come as such a non sequitor in his posts. But you, I'm no longer as willing to accept attacks from you. Just because I don't agree with everything you say, you have no right to call me names, or attack me as a person, or (as in your last post) call into question the standards of my university. I never claimed to know everything, but I'm certainly not as stupid as you make me out to be. And you know what? I'm in MENSA too. So where does that leave you?

MR, you have not *just* asked questions at all but that is somewhat beside the point here. My last point was that you were defining yourself on the false premise that employers are infallible. It was not a personal remark but a general one. *You* were keen to misinterpret it as personal rather than think about it and realise that it was true. As well as the principle being true, I even know an example of such a lecturer who was not fit to be in the post.
With regard to MENSA, you clearly have no idea just how low their entry standards are. The delegation which came here for a conference was also very amusing in being unable to comprehend the door locks and continually locking themselves out of their rooms. More than anything else, holding MENSA up as proof of intelligence (and what might be called common sense) demonstrates a lack of discernment on your part.

Really? You seem to have been pretty proud of flaunting it around. Doesn't matter a hill of beans to me...all their tests prove is that you're good at taking tests. You're right in saying that there's a lot more to intelligence than IQ. Where you're wrong
If I said to you, "wow, the fact that you continually insult me makes me think that you're overcompensating for a lack of intelligence" how would that make you feel? Not particularly chipper, I'd imagine. But I wouldn't say that to you, because 1) it's rude and 2) how the hell would I know why you feel the need to insult me? that's your own internal dialogue going on there.
If you really want to continue to insult me, go right ahead. I'm just sorry that you had to go through whatever happened in your life that made you feel the need to insult people you don't even know.

Sorry, I didn't finish that thought there...should read "Where you're wrong is in assuming that how you relate to others has nothing to do with intelligence...it has a lot to do with it, actually."
