Hi!
Heheheeee... It's more common over here than you think... The looks are more like "Oh my god, here comes another wanny them weirdoes! I don't like them, they're always laughing and happy... I wish I was like them, only I can't, my friends wouldn't allow it" ... And so on...
Sad, isn't it...
Well, we wear more than what Scottish men wear under their kilts . We usually go for boxershorts...
And of course, yellow or red slippers...
It became really interesting when the keeper started throwing himself to save the ball..
I think you should, didn't you say that your father had some Zappa records? Oh, allright then, on the condition that you try eating some of the brown cheese that I'll bring . Possibly, I'll add some other Norwegian specialities to that, not karsk, though...
Øyvind!

Hi!
Hmmm... weird indeed.
Naw, not really. I'm freezing, and my limbs are still aching... It feels like I've been putting it off for a week or so...
I started watching LOTR a couple of hours ago, and I had to stop halfway through because I actually felt like crying... for no reason at all
. URGH. And I've got a four hour french test tomorrow... I'm not up to reading for it at all...

hey there!
You're not giggly? i thought you were?! och never mind.. i like serious people actually... they lie a lot less than those attention-seeking types.
Actually i think most Scotsmen are wimps when it comes to what they wear underneath their kilts... act actually make that a happy face
!
Yup! oh the brown cheese! is it sweet we have a deal then? i eat the brown cheese and you sample some lovely vodka?
don't worry i'll have a glass of water on hand if you feel ill!
What's karsk?
oh i saw Span have new tour dates... it doesn't give me the Glasgow date but they start at the end of January and then the tour goes on into February.

Hi!
Did I say that? I'm not sure, really. Maybe I am, I'm loud, anyway. And I can be giggly at times, but it all depends on my mood, and how safe I feel with the situation...
Hehehe, well, my mother certainly has had experiences to the contrary (something about a ladder, I think)... Wether you like it or not......
Hehe, yes, the brown cheese is very sweet. And about as healthy as chocolate... Very few foreigners like it, though...
I love it, it's best on toast, or with waffles...
I thought i had told you about that horrid spirit that farmers make up here, out of potatoes... Pure 96% ethanol, best enjoyed in a cup of coffee... Never tasted it myself, and I don't think I mean to do so either...
Oh, where did you see that, I went looking for new dates an hour ago, but I didn't find anything...
I think I'm just plain exhausted. On top of everything we do at school, I'm in my teens, and I'm going thorugh an emotionally hard time... It's really weird... Oh well, I'm allready half way thorugh the year... Only three weeks left.
Well, I'm thinking about it, but I will have problems doing it if I don't feel particularly ill tomorrow...

hello!
yeah you said you could be giggly... but not all the time... hence why you come across as a loon... not that you ain't a loon...lol
aha! oh your poor mother!
Hmmmm sounds quite good actually... cheese ain't healthy anyway...
Ummmmmmm i'll need to check the website for you... i don't know the exact address because it's just a site i have access to through Telewest. It doesn't list Scottish dates very often though which makes it pretty useless for me. if they are playing Glasgow i'll find out soon(probably this week) as i'll be going to TicketScotland to get Easyworld tickets
I hope your exam was okay!

yaay! just remember that... Lovely Christmas hols and then Dream Theater and then Span! yaay! oh plus you get to meet me!l
Tatatataaaa
Mr. Carrot Posted Dec 4, 2003
Hi!
Hehe... I'll leave that judgement to you, when we meet (yes, I say when, not if)...
Hehe... that all depends on your viewpoint, but she was quite shocked, yes.
Not to worry about that. Carrots can kill you, if you decide to take that viewpoint. Nothing is healthy, if you don't eat with moderation... Some cheese won't harm you...
Okay... Well, I'll just scooch around the web for it then. There's got to be some news of their tour dates...
I didn't take it I'm still not feeling well, and I don't think I'm going tomorrow either
...
Yes, lovely christmas hols, and then my birthday, and then DT, and then lovely birthday celebration (we're throwing a pyjama party), and then Span!
Silje's father has even said that he'll allow us to have alcohol for the celebration. I don't think we will though, because none of us drink a lot... I was thinking of a bottle of champagne, but I think I'll probably be the only one there willing to drink it...

hello there!
okay!
Then again you were quite shocked to find out Scottish lassies wear kilts... tee hee
Yeah that's true right enough Although i doubt the amount of toffee popcorn i've been eatin is a good idea. I should hould be laying off the food actually... i mean it's almost Christmas!
do you have an advent calendar?
yeah i found out the website i was on that gave me Span dates is for Telewest users only... it's like a website only accessible through the tv.
awwww! you'll be able to catch up though. loads of people are off college just now. My friend Katie was off today and she'll be off tomorrow too. She has a fever.
a pyjamas party? what like a sleepover? hmmmm that's interesting! over here they are kinda a girlie thing... i don't think i've ever hear of an 18-year-old guy who likes sleepovers... yaay! good for you! you can come to my pyjama party anytime then!
and yes of course im sure you've figured most young men over here go out and get blind drunk on their 18th birthdays.

Hi!
Hehe... not really shocked, but I didn't know that... Now I know better...
Hehe... Well, you can choose to save up for that, but I'd prefer getting some good, nutritious food now. I'm not really all too fond of Norwegian christmas food... It's allright, but not particularly interesting. Anyway, rather bread than toffee popcorn
.
I thought I'd told you... Hmmm, well, not really. My mother asked me if I wanted one, and I said that I didn't... But she'd allready gone and bought some gifts for it, so I've got an advent calendar for another two days, but no more...
Awwww... damn. Anyway, that must mean that there is something good about telewest as well...
Yeah, I think I will... I just hope it won't be to tough on me...
Well, not neccesarily a sleepover, it's more like a themed party, where everyone HAVE to show up in pyjamas. But it'll porbably some kind of a sleepover. Well, we usually reserve those kind of parties for 7-10 year-olds, but, well, I go to music school, we're weird. And we like emphasizing the fluffy bits of life...
Also, I'll have to admit that I've held a couple of sleepovers before, last one was this summer actually (loads of girls showing up (big surprise)). I think it probably is a girl-thing, but what do I care, it's nice...
Hehehe... well, of course, but I find that getting drunk and having a terrible hangover is not the way I wish to celebrate my eighteenth birthday...
Oh, most guys (and girls) do that over here to...

hello there!
my mother is currently playing Luther Vandross' song "Dance With My Father"... it's terribly sad...
dear god! i've got a lot of converting to do when you come to Scotland! vodka shots, coca cola and toffee popcorn!
how can you have only 2 days left of your advent calendar?
oh i see! that's cool though... "the fluffy side of life"... that's nice!
so you are allowed girls over? i'd never be allowed boys over to spend the night... the house ain't big enough!lol

Hiya!
Hmm... I'm going to demonstrate my ignorance by saying that I've never heard of the song, or the artist, for that matter. But sad songs are good. Or can be, but they're dangerous...
Who're you going to convert? Yourself, or me?. If it's you that's going to convert, then I can assure you that you won't miss the things... After a week, you'll realize that there are better, tastier, and healthier things
. Ever tried baby carrots, bread and water?
. I'm going too far here, aren't I? Anyway, I'm not going to criticize your habits. You can do whatever you wish to do. But you can't be certain that I'll join you in all those activities.
Hmmm... well, we have a special system in my family. We don't use those ready-made calendars with chocolate. We put up wee gifts on a home-made one instead. Or, my mother puts them up, we take 'em down. I remember once my dad made one, it was full of explosives, and equipment for pranks... Anyway, I told her that I didn't really want one this year, but then she had allready bought six gifts. So she put those up. I think I'm going to go and buy the smarties calendar this year, though, because it actually looked good...
That's how we describe it... Or at least the way I describe it. The side filled up with all those nice childhood things, like slumber parties, and cuddly toys, and innocence... And since we are crazy musicians, we love being childish...

Oh, and I forgot to say that yes, my parents don't have any problems with my inviting girls over. They trust me too much to even start thinking that I would be up to anything...
Also, girls tend to be more careful than boys...

Hiya!
Heheeee... I'm not really all that healthy. But I've realized that there is some food, healthy food, that tastes better than candy. Baby carrots is a potential replacement of candy: they're small, crunchy, tasty, and go well with dip. As for bread, I'm not really a fan of it... It's allright when it's fresh, and baked at a bakery (not those horrid shop-breads), but after a day or two, they go dry and uninteresting.
But I'm glad to hear you are at least drinking more water. That's impressive.
Anyway, I hope I won't have to experience a war, but we'll see what the future brings...
Well, no, it holds these chocolate eggs, with smarties inside of them. And I only ran out of presents yesterday, so I won't lose too many days. Besides, when I get one, I get to open 7 doors... wee!
Anyway, we don't put them behind doors, we gift-wrap them, and hang them on a prepared home-made calendar. And no, it doesn't really. We use the same calendar every year, but with new gifts...
Perhaps I should just post a picture of it?
A barbie calendar, you say? What do you get in that one? And how pink is it? lol.
Naw, I don't think there's anything wrong in being childish. After all, I'm the one throwing a slumber party, remember?

"Waiting"?
waiting for me to reply?
"confusion"
Candy? awwww! that's such an American way of putting it! The Glaswegian for it being "sweeties" " which you may already know.
More water... "Must drink more water"... tee hee.
ooooh! chocolate eggs?! i want one of those!
i get chocolate stars behind mine... and yes the calendar is very pink.
yeah you could always post a picture of it... i mean do you ever get 24 or 25 gifts together for it? seems like a massive hassle to me!
then again this is the girl who favours ready-made calendars and microwave dinners. lol
