Hi!
Well, your post read "wait a min"... So I waited .
Yes, I should've said sweeties, but I had just listened to an old favourite song of mine, named candy. So I couldn't quite rid my mind of that word...
Heheheheeeee... I know, it's weird, isn't it? When you realize just how much you're really supposed to drink. Being thirsty is a sign of the fact that you should hav had a least a litre of water, and probably about an hour ago.
Hmmm... *wondering what to do about claire's wish for a smarties calendar* Maybe I should send you one next year... Yeah, chocolate eggs, filled with smarties. And six wee christmas figures made of chocolate, and two games... Or so it says on the packaging.
Heheheee... it had to be pink, it's a barbie calendar.
Yes, I've had 24 gifts every year now, since I was born. No problem (or, I wouldn't know, my mother always did it). Anyway, it's not really too much of a hassle. You just buy small things. In the later years it has often been school accesories, such as ink, rubbers, marker pens, glue, etc. I remember one year my mum had bought a puzzle, and put three or four pieces into each bag, then I would unwrap them, and assemble them, and on the 24th, I had an entire picture .
Have you ever tried a home-made one? How can you say that you favour ready-made ones when you haven't tried a home-made calendar? Anyway, I prefer home made, it is "Customized to fit my needs and wishes"...

hello there!
but i added what i was gonna say in the next post!lol
aha... the song wasn't by Ash was it? probably not but thought i'd ask anyway as it's probably the only song i know called Candy.
aaaa! i soooo want that calendar! i haven't seen it over here...
well i think the home-made calendar is a nice idea. i think people over here are too lazy for that though.

Hello!
Heheheeeee... I know... I felt like being direct, blunt and confusing... I seem to have managed it...
Well, no, it was by "The Presidents of the United States of America"... phew, long name. I haven't listened to them for over a year now, but they're quite good, actually. A grunge band from Seattle...
Next year, sweetie .
Well, it mostly comes down to tradition. It's not really a lot of work (you could always pack candy), but it's more... personal.
Where was I again? oh yeah... how's the piano coming along? Getting anywhere closer to grade 5?

Awww... How annoying. Well, I think I would call it the extended murphy's law. Everything that can go wrong, will go wrong, AND at the worst imaginable time...
What? Only Nirvana? What about Alice in Chains? Come on... you HAVE heard of them, haven't you? I believe that they are from seattle..
Hehe...
Ok... Well, mine aren't exactly overdeveloped... I honestly haven't had a lot of time for practicing... It makes me feel awful... But I'm not all horrible either...
Well, speaking of getting your head done in. I've just had a whole day of conduction tests... Fifteen minutes as a conductor/instructor, 7 hours of bloody singing the same monotonous songs... I'm tired of those songs now...lol

Mr. Carrot Posted Dec 8, 2003
And now I just got home from a nother two hours of singing... I had forgotten, but I had agreed to help out a choir with some percussion, and, where possible, some singing (their bass group is a little weak). So I had to sing songs I've never sung before, prima vista, and that after having sung for seven hours allready... Phew. I'm tired of singing...
I'm off to take a shower...

gosh i ebtter get to bed then...

Hiya!
You're excused. I'd just like to say that Seattle is considered the origin of grunge music. It's like liverpool to Beatles fans...
Well, I'm back at school now. I dunno really how I'm gonna manage it. Most of the people in my class have said that they feel like they're just struggling towards the holidays... But I've managed to get this far, I've only got two weeks left, and then lovely christmas hols till the 4th...
I dunno, really. I'll TAKE time off for it. I'm going to talk to my class teacher today, and ask him. If nothing else works, I'll use my study-days...
Sleep well?
Awww.. that's too bad. I suppose that means that you'll have to do it again, then?

hello aaaah so nice to type on a keyboard that doesn't type every word twice for you.
Yeah i feel like your classmates! i just need the 2 weeks of holidays for sleeping... eugh... that's my own fault right enough. i've got a few tests in the meantime though.
yep... i'll have to go xmas shopping again. it isn't too much of a problem because i can just go one day after college, just get on a train and it isn't long till im in Glasgow Central... the college is in Glasgow anyway... just in the South... i think i just have my mums stuff to get.

Hello! Yes, I've been wondering about that particular gift of yours... It's the keyboard then...
Well, I've only got two tests left, science, and the play-up... oh, the dreaded play-up... AAAARGH. So much to do, and I can't do it in the weekend either...
I'll manage, though. I'm really looking forward to the holidays. Oh, and the LOTR premiere is next week.... WEEEEHHEEEEEE
Speaking of LOTR, we have this strange custom in Norway, when a big film hits the streets, we have a pre-sale of cinema tickets. And often the hardcore fans will camp outside the cinema for days to get tickets. Do you do that in Scotland too? Or are we just weird up here in Norway?
Well, lucky you. I've got seven siblings to get for... AAARGH, and friends, and more family... I dunno how I'm ever going to make it... I really have to go to Oslo.
But I went shopping with Mari today (half an hour, that was all I had time for). I didn't get anything, but 'twas nice... And I found out that she really didn't have any money... So, all in all, that settles my doubts, and I feel a lot better.

Hullo!
Hehe... well, I have some rough idea... Anyway, that's interesting. Must be something about that digibox, I suppose...
Well, I've got two concerts and a birthday party... Plus that I've got an oral test on monday, and then the play-up on wednesday. It's a good thing I get tuesday off so I can practice...
Hmm... Well, maybe it is a Norwegian thing... Anyway... I'm really looking forward to it. I'm now half-way through Two towers, it's the sixth time I read the books... Weeee. And I've got to be done before the films come out.
I don't think she has. I think she's in a real fix now... I've got a feeling there'll be quite a lot of home-made presents from her this year... But she'll manage, I think.
Anyway, I'm off to read for my science test...
Øyvind
And yes, it was in this thread... lol. And it is - frankly - a bit spooky... OOOOH

Well, no... I've bought things from other places. I love buying books online, but I've never done it at E-bay. I don't really like auctions...
Hmmmm... I had better go...
