Um... well, we have a thing in Norway, called "lånekassen", they give out loans for students, and also scholarships... For as long as I'm still studying in "Videregående" (i.e. two years), I'll get money from them...
Oh, and can I just say that I'm not angry with you or anything because of your opinion of "Revolutions", I'm just giving you some arguments to chew on... Because there are loads of aspects of this film that are far from obvious... So give it a try, eh?

So, have you seen "The Animatrix", then? Have I perhaps asked you that before?

Well, you get used to it, I suppose... It has never been an option here in Norway... You have to have ten years, then you may choose to go on for another three years (which is what I'm currently doing), but you won't get a job over here without those three years... Then we go to uni...
There is one advantage, though... Most Norwegians find it very easy to study abroad, because they know so much about so many subjects... We get a very broad understanding of things... which can be applied in many different ways...
Yeah, I remember... But the Animatrix is quite old... And I know that you HAD a DVD player... But anyway, I recommend them... they're good, though some of them are a wee bit grotesque...
Phew, I just got back from an open day at the Norwegian Music College... OMG... that seemed soooo fun... They've got loads of great teachers, and loads of equipment... And they've got a studio... My teacher told me that his final exam was broadcasted live from the stage there... I don't think I could face doing my exam live on the radio... Anyway... FUN!!!!

Hullo!
AAARGH!!! That must be so annoying... but tell me, can't you check if it gets sent or not?
Hehe... it was the same with some of the girls in our class when their piano teacher came down with some serious breathing problems... The poor woman had to go through surgery, but it meant no piano tests for them for yet another couple of weeks... They felt terrrible, but happy at the same time...
Well, maybe, but I don't think I'm good enough for that college... They're really restrictive on who they take in, and you have to go through all these tests... Oh, the horror...
Well, the way I see it, the work'll never end for you either... You're studying now, and after that, you'll head straigt into work somewhere, and you'll be doing that for the next forty years or so until you're old and realize that you haven't got a lot of time left... and then you retire... I'm not trying to scare you, but it is unfortunately the way society works, so my conclusion is that I should at least enjoy what I do... And maybe... just maybe... I'll take a year off and travel to some far away place, just for the experiences...

hiya!
Well yeah but it just took ages when i pressed "Send Message" so i went back to watch the tv... however the message didn't send... it (
usually does though. oh and i've also replied on our other thread... twice! but it still hasn't sent properly.
oh and my class is cancelled tomorrow again!"Claire wonders if it was the class test results which made her lecturer ill".
So life's hard and then you die?! yeah you're're right actually.
well your plan sounds rather good to me anyway!

Hullo!
Ahh, I know what went wrong then... the bad news is that there is very little you can do about it... It's to do with televest, methinx, but it might only be a temporary problem...
Hmmm... well, you're not responsible for your lecturers health, neither physically, nor psychcologically. Anyway, I'm quite convinced that YOUR test results would not be the cause of her illness, that would have to be someone else .
Naw, well, society is hard, life is what you make of it... My point is: "Seize the day", it'll never come again... I think it is important to make life good, for yourself, but more importantly, for those around you. I think life is good, but people make it bad... But that can be overcome, all it takes is patience and perseverance, and the will to change things.
I also think that a change is just around the corner... But I'm not sure if that change will be for better, or worse...
Thanks... So what are you planning, then?

Hello!
i figured... it sucks though!
I guess so... i wish my lecturer tomorrow would be ill! i hate friday afternoon lessons!
A change for who? My life has changedanged quite alot this year. Well since going to college... it's changed my life! I've only noticed that fairly recently when i was speaking to a girl i've met at college(the one im always going to gigs with now)... im just a lot happier. And no wonder! I no longer have 6 and a half hours of school then come home for another 3 hours homework. The fact that im now half a stone lighter than i was one year ago says it all really. I don't just feel better, i look better!
My plan? well along with my friend our plan for this year and next year is to go to as many gigs as possible! as for the far future... well i have no idea... i can't really plan things. i can't even plan as far ahead as tomorrow... i don't see the point... nothing ever works out like you want it to.

Heisann!
True... but not to worry... It'll work out... hopefully
Hehe... maybe so, but you'll hate it more if he/she stays away for too long, and you don't go through all that you'll need for your exams...
Well, I was thinking more in general terms (we were talking about society, right?)... I see changes coming, and sudden changes at that... Well, maybe I'm just paranoid, but there are some indications that the pendulum of history is about to turn again... Och, well, we'll see what happens...
Anyway, I'm too exhausted to write anything sensible without a huge effort... so I'll apologize in advance for the misunderstandings that are likely to come out of this posting.
But I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying life...
Naw, maybe they don't, but I've had quite a lot of luck at predicting the future... I prefer to know what I want to do, and to work for it, without getting tto disappointed if I don't neccesarily get there... And, no, very few things work out exactly the way you want them to, but if you don't try and affect them, then things are likely to turn a lot worse than if you really work for it... And I find that I work best when I have a clear purpose to achieve... But then again, that varies from person to person....
The gigs sound fun, though!

i just lost another message! how is this possible?! right sorry... rant over... till i lose another message that is.
True... but i soooo want tomorrow off!
Oh right i see... hmmmm society changin for the better? nah i doubt it!
Me too... my mind is numbed with my stupid homework... im also lacking caffeine(my mum mum is away out so i can't get any coffee... yes that's right... i don't know how to make coffee...!) or tea... or anything else for that matter.
ah you sound like a typical Capricorn! Always needing a plan! just kidding... well half kiddiing actually... don't get me wrong it's not like i have no direction... im just living a little... i've been too focused for too long. I'd forgotten what the point in being young was.
oh yeah the gigs ARE great!
i might beght be putting up pics from gigs next month perhaps with a little help from my friend so if i do i'll tell you where(prolly this music forum i like). Should be a laugh if nothing else!

Hmmm? The problem is your upload system... but I don't think that knowledge will help you in any way .
Hehe... Well, don't we all. Still, it's better to keep up, and work to do so than to be the one lagging behind and not understanding anything...
True enough, but we have a chance this time, if we can just keep it from being an abrupt change resulting in chaos and anarchy...
Well, I know how to make it, but I still don't enjoy drinking it... *Øyvind starts wondering if he should teach Claire how to make coffee when he comes over, and then thinks better of it * lol...
Hehe... Maybe so, but I believe that a wee bit of planning will make me capable of living my life more... Provided I leave room for spontaneous decisions... Och, that sounds horrid, I hope I'll never forget that...Cool ! Do tell me, will that be pics of you then? Or just of the artists?

Wee... hullo!
No, i wasn't critizing your understanding of computer jargon... the point is that the problem is in your internet line... And there's very little you can do about it... you'll need televest to sort it out...
Awww... and you wouldn't even wait until the morning to answer me, even though you were tired? How nice...
Well, allright, but can't you get your parents to show you? Wouldn't that be simpler than to get a foreigner that doesn't even drink coffe to do it?
My only advice is that you try cooking some more... You'll find that a lot of products come with a handy recipe on the back somerwhere... You can't go wrong if you follow that...
Oh, cool! I'm sure the pics will be splendid (god, I hope so!)
Wee... I like the new smileys

Ha! you made me laugh there... a foreigner who doesn't even drink coffee... you don't drink coffee?! What do you drink? aha i know... cheap wine...! i actually prefer tea to coffee.
Im supposed to be the best cook in the zodiac so i suppose it'll come naturally to me!lol
If the pictures are horrendous they are going nowhere near the net!lol

Hi!
Phew!
Aww, well, so am I. I'm supposed to write this science project, but I think I'll let it wait until tomorrow... I just can't do anything now...
Well, mostly water, and expensive wine, whenever I can get my hands on it without paying for it, which is quite seldom, but sometimes my parents do open a bottle... Oh, and some times soft drinks... But water is the best, actually...
Hehe... maybe so... But you'll just have to try I suppose... Maybe I'll make a journal entry where I pour from my life's wisdom:
1) Frozen Lasagne is horrid!
2) Frozeb Lasagne cooked in a microwave oven smells totally horrid, and is inedible.
3) Never put pastry in a microwave, unless you are prepared to eat it with a spoon, or possibly a straw.
4) Never leave anything that is boiling (especially milk).
6) Try and avoid doing sciance experiments with dangerous substances while cooking.
7) Never put anything metallic in a microwave, you might not live to regret it.
8) Unless you are a physicist/tv-show host, do NOT put lightbulbs in a microwave.
9) Don't put eggs/tomatoes in a microwave oven.
10) Thou shalt bloody well not eat anything from the sea, as it is intoxicated, had man been meant to eat fish, then he would have been born with fishing hooks between his fingers...
Phew... that was a summing up of some common and uncommon mistakes...
Hehe... I understand that you wouldn't like horrendous pictures published, but then again, that's what the web is for...

helloooo!
och same here... i have homework but i think i'll go to the library soon to muck about on the net.
oh yeah i like water too. should drink more of it really.
Ha! oh come on i ain't that stupid! i did do home economics at school in 1st and 2nd year you know!lol... one thing i have to say is... don't eat fish?! i love fish plus it's good for you, you know!
I eat chicken the most though... that's my favourite. i can't stomach red meat anymore though. My dad used to have barbecues all the time in the summer(2 reasons: (a) the heatwave. (b) he made his own barbecue) Anyway one dinnertime at his house consisted of chicken, steak and pork... i almost died...
Ooooh! i only have one gig to go to next week! but the following week i have 2... aaaah.

HIIIIIIIIIIII!
Well, that sounds fun... I still haven't done any homework... but do I care... NO!
Hehe... indeed, I believe that you've noticed my obsession with water, right?
Hehehe... well, most of those advices were unneccesary, but I still felt like adding them, have you ever actually seen what happens if you put lightbulbs in a microwave? It's quite amusing...
Och, I know, but I think it is seriously overstimated, plus, I'm childish. But just to supply my argument, here follows some of my toughts on the subject of being god... on second though, I'll send it to you by mail.
Ahh, yes, I agree... Chicken is good. Chicken is great, especially with loads of spices, like tikka, or tandoori... YAY
Hehe... well, I see how that would be annoying, luckily I moved out from my dads place just before he started building his outdoor barbeque. Thank god...
Well, I can't say I feel sorry for u. I haven't been to a proper gig for a while.
But anyway, we seem to be in luck. Span will be releasing an album in February 2004, and then they'll go on an album promo tour in the UK, and Norway. So maybe I'll be lucky. I'll try and catch them when they have a gig in Glasgow, the tour dates will be announced shortly.
