I'm looking for a new printer - photo quality. Have you any recommendations? I have an HP at the moment but I'm wondering about a Canon?

I'm back!
In fact it was colder than here when we got there on Thursday - a very cold wind blowing! However, it didn't rain and for the remaining time, the weather was relatively mild although a coat was always needed.
Saw lots and made the most of the time so now have a 'feel' for the place. Can't say my Spanish has improved though.
We went to the Palace of Music (loose translation) on Saturday night to see a Jazz concert ( the guide book said it was the best way other than a guided tour to experience the maginificent interior). It started at 9pm (or so we thought!) It was the final day of an International Bi-ennial Jazz Festival so for an hour and a quarter the stage was full of important personages and there were several speeches. The music finally began at almost 10.30pm!
The absolute WORST aspect was the bus from Girona aiport into Barcelona - a real bun fight on both journeys ( a taxi would have cost 125 euros each way for the 100kms). It's put me off going anywhere if I can't fly into the main airport even if the flight IS cheap! Made me wonder if visitors to the UK feel the same about Stanstead - Gatwick is less of a problem I think since there's a good rail link.

Wow - sounds like a great weekend - inspite of the airport travel - it is a long way though - Barcelona to the nearest reasonable airport I mean.

Stansted is close to.........Cambridge?? The metropolis of Bishops Stortford!!!

I thought you meant you were wearing shorts!!! lol

In fact there is a Barcelona Airport (only 15mins away from the centre), as opposed to Girona which is an hour away. I didn't realise until I'd booked the flight that this was the case and although the flight was cheap and everything about it was fine, the bus journey (in terms of getting us and the luggage on board) was horrible!
It's pouring with rain here and very dark - lights have been on all day. Ugh!

It's the same down here!! Very depressing!

It's warmer now mind!
