Hello Simon
Only just got back this afternoon and it took ages - the Northbound carriageway of the A1 was closed just as I left the M18!
How are you and how is the knee?
I have now got a virus too - cold sore - I never got them until I was expecting Emma and now they appear periodically. And you're right - it is only September!
I will get in touch later - I am shattered and the painter is coming again tomorrow to finish the job - he's not very early on a Saturday - it comes after Friday night
Speak soon
Helen

Your knee must be lots better or are you suffering - in silence or not?
A range of places mentioned there - Paris is lovely this time of year.
Take care
Helen

Hi Helen
Yes the knee is lots better thanks - still think Physio's rely too much on S&M though!
Hows you?? Still rockin' and rollin'??
tip?
LadyChatterly Posted Sep 19, 2003
LOL
Now what do you know about S&M?
I'm still having problems but I've had enough so I'm off to New Zealand the week after next
I will TRY to get this place shipshape before I go!
I'm trying to sort out the puter at the moment. Apparently my system is riddled with all sorts of nasty spyware and if I've understood it right, that may be why I'm having such problems with pop-ups. I've downloaded a programme and I'm going to read the Tutorial in bed
Have a good weekend
Helen

That's me - always last minute Only paid for it on Saturday and I fly out a week tomorrow.
You sound a bit strange Simon - I'm only going for three weeks, to see my son and his girlfriend
Still have lots to do tho. Got the big case out of the loft yesterday - now I have to fill it
Take care

I wouldn't call it therapy!
I think I'll have to start the packing today and then I can see what to take back to the shops at the weekend!
I hate this bit when you have to get it all in a case and then do some cleaning so that it doesn't look too bad when you get back - I can always find something more interesting to do - when I was studying, I used to call it the 'cornflake packet syndrome'. In other words, I could always find something more interesting to do, even reading the back of a cornflake packet

Absolutly correct - with also the bit where you need something but it's already packed and can you risking the whole balance by un-packing it again on a temporary basis!!!!
tip?
LadyChatterly Posted Sep 24, 2003
As well as being reluctant to wear anything that is clean on the basis that you'll have to wash it again before...
More retail today but I think that's it - unless I take my walking boots in which case, they need new laces
This is going to be one of those pack it and then unpack it to throw stuff out jobs!

Might I suggest - pack it - then go hide the case and re-pack in something smaller - 5 pairs of shorts and a few T shirts - the rest you can get when you're there
Oh - and a few beads to placate the natives!

Got you in duplicate there. This is the South Island of New Zealand I'm going to, not the Bahamas! The weather is pretty much like here at the moment - 12 degrees the other day and raining yesterday I'm having to cater for all contingencies. Started ironing this morning
However, found time to have my first session of Pilates at lunchtime and i have Aerobics this evening

Toooooo energetic Helen!!
Anyway - you're heading for Summer weather - quite the reverse of the UK !!

LadyChatterly Posted Sep 25, 2003
You were absolutely right - I won't be going back to the aerobics - I hated it! I'll be doing the Pilates when I get back as well as some treadmill, cycling, rowing and trampolining - at my own pace and with my own music!
I really need to trim down and get rid of the flab before it gets any worse!
I came out of the aerobics and straight into the fish and chip shop
Starting to get piles of clothes now

Hummmmmm
And what is Pilates?? I've heard of Pontius but I suspect that it's not in the same context!!

LadyChatterly Posted Sep 28, 2003
A German invented it in the 1920's i believe. - more when i get back.
Case is packed and I can't lift it! It's a tad over the 20 kilos allowance so I hope it'll be ok. I also have a rucksack as handbaggage - I hope I'm not pushing my luck.
I'll see you when I get back Simon.
Take care
Helen
