D'you know, I'd completely lost the thread there and since your reply appeared at the top of a new page, I had to go back lol
I thought for a moment you had bats in the belfry or had been drinking
We've put Spain on hold for a week - I'm still having probs with my passages/cavities so not sure a) about flying or b) being able to take full advantage.
It's been very autumnal here today so I think you're right - I was dodging the showers to take the dog out.
Take care Simon

Keep that poor dog dry - Don't drag him through the wet poor thing!

So a little inebriated then
'She' hates the rain so always has something of a crisis - torn between getting wet and the prospect of a walk.
In fact, although it's colder ( I had to put my heating on last night AND wear my bedsocks) we haven't had any rain. Just as well cos I've got a man painting the outside of the house at the mo.
I'm a bit fed up with waiting for my son in law getting XP Pro out of the loft - in your professional opinion is it just as good to get the upgrade as an add-on?
Also, I've found a free pop up eliminator - recommended in the Sunday Times last week - it doean't get rid of all of them, particularly MSN but is working for some. I'm also thinking of downloading something called a Spybot which looks to see if anyone's added anything to your system that allows others to see what your surfing habits are. I need to read the instructions first
Have a nice evening
Helen

Noooooooooooo - merely mellow!
I would go for the upgrade if I were you - get the latets patches from Microsoft as well - that should do it!
I heard this monring we've had the hottest August since records began - and that we had the wettest June!
There'll be a hosepipe ban yet
Spybot is ok - certainly a help for home users - there's a lot of Freeware about that can be put on board - but be careful that it doesn't overpower the PC!
Have a good one - speak to you later

Hi Helen
Yea - always busy - the knee is beginning to come back to reality - I just wish it hadn't gone round the houses to get there!
Trouble is it's brough a cold back with it - Isn;t it redicullous - a cold and it's only just gone into September.
Did you remember the white rabbits?
Strain?
Nahh!
Tell me how you are - up the in the chilly North!

Some interesting typos there
The strain COULD have been misconstrued I thought - perhaps to do with weight?
I seem to either have cold or be totally blocked - nothing in between. I saw the Consultant again yesterday when he again performed the unmentionable procedure and I have to see him again on the 24th. Trouble is I'm afraid to make any plans for the Antipodes in case I have a problem and it's a lot of money to expend if you're not on top form. Wondering now about Australia after Christmas (now that IS an arm and a leg!)
It's been sunny here and yesterday was warm although the nights are cold. I'm off to the West Midlands tomorrow for a few days - Hugo's second birthday - I will be knackered again :o)

Typos?? Moi??
Strangely enough I've started a cold as of last night!! Keep away from the legs though - maybe an arm - but not both
Wow - you do travel down to the West midlands a lot - partying all the time eh!
Have a good time eh!

Partying?????
Not exactly my idea of a good party which involves lots of dancing and even more dancing - I love it!
I am just totally bunged up with whatever he's filled my sinuses with - he said it was ointment but personally I think it's quick drying cement
I have been baking again And just bathed the dog. Also semi packed a case.
I told you I would be knackered
See you next week - have a good weekend.

I'll be spending the weekend trying to get rid of my cold which has suddenly appeared out of the blue - well ok - out of a virus !
Lemons / whiskey and paracetamols party!!
Have a super party
