Potato - a great episode!
"Oh... hello, Baldrick. You haven't seen that cretin Percy anywhere, have you?"
"Yes my lord, he's hiding in the box!"

caper_plip Posted May 3, 2003
"So, Lord Whiteadder... a vow of silence. That's very interesting... tell me about it!"
Blackadder
Riccardo - Keeper of the Hammond Organ Posted May 6, 2003
Lady Whiteadder: "...and you - has anyone ever told you you you're a giggling imbesile?"
Percy: "Oh yes".

By god, how did you get me in that position?
Blackadder, never have I met such foul and depraved perversity! Have you ever considered a career in the church?

Baldrick: "I heard quite an amusing story myself the other day..."
Blackadder: "Oh good." *walks off*

"I have done C and D, my lord"
"Go on, then"
"Big blue wobbly thing that mermaids live in?"
"What's that?"
"C..."

...and I tell you, if I ever meet an Aardvark, I'm going to step on it's damn protruding nasal snout until it couldn't suck up an insect if its life depended on it!

I once had a job cleaning a library with lots of *really* old books and it had Dr Samuel Johnson's Dictionary.
I just had to look it up .... indeed it does not contain the word "Sausage"
I looked high and low but could find no copy of the only book that was even better...

That's because it was burnt.
On "The hot orangey thing underneath the stoney mantelpiece"
Would it save time if we just re-printed the scripts somewhere?

Believe me, Baldrick, eternity in the company of Beelzebub and all his demons will be nothing compared to five minutes with me, and *this* pencil.

And that's our first repeat! Maybe there are less than a hundred good Blackadder quotes, after all.

...they'd go for Wee Jock 'Poo Pong' McPlop any day of the week.

How can everyone forget the ultimate line?
George: I hear you've been seeing a lot of Nurse Mary...
Edmund: Yes, almost all of her in fact
Melchett to Bob - I hear Blackadder does a good line in rough shag, I'm sure he can fill your pipe...
And a line that gets rolled out in the pub nearly every night -
My Lord, you have a woman's **insert mot du jour or article being commented upon** !!!
Flash's greatest episode:
Flash: Treat your kite like you treat your woman!
Percy (or George, I forget): do you mean take it home to see your mother (or something)
Flash: No! Get inside her five times a day and take her to heaven and back!
Flash on the phone, I forget the beginning: ...or I'll fly back to England and give your wife something to hang her towels on!
As you can all probably guess, I'm a great fan of smut and innuendo
And another one I often use -
Blackadder avoiding orders when the phone rings: Hello, Savoy Bar and Grill?
Blackadder
Riccardo - Keeper of the Hammond Organ Posted May 8, 2003
- Ah Edmund, I'm glad I caught you.
- Doing what?
Blackadder
Mu Beta Posted May 8, 2003
QE1: Hope you're not too miffed. Byeee!
Adder/Melchett: What!?
Ludwig: Hope you're not too miffed. Byeerreah!
I shall return and wreak my rewengee!

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
