Dear Em, I know what you mean about those little things holding hands and cuddles and all that romantic stuff, what is so sad to me is that I am living with someone and I am still missing that affection and simple companionship .

Well enough of my woes, I can always change my circumstances if I had the courage. I had a conversation with my partner today about our sex life or should I say lack of. She has said basically that we will not have sex again as she finds me replusive !!. She is only 38 so I said to her that is it her intention never to have sex again at such a young age. She just said not with me!!.

If only we did not have a daughter, life would be so much easier and perhaps I could have something to look forward to. Her hope is that I will find some new women and leave home, she has actually said this, well if I did I probably would. As you can no doubt tell I have had rather alot of red wine tonight, it comes to something when you need alcohol to get you through the night.

You are right not to settle for second best, I just hope Mr Right is not too far away, I am sure he will turn up eventually.

Ignor my ramblings tonight, just caught me at a bad time.

Maybe you should think about getting out of that relationship and moving on...as it doesn't seem to be going anywhere,at least then you both may find happiness again..I'm sure your little un will ajust and get used to it quickly if you where to split.

Hi Em, .

How are you ?, did you have a good weekend ?, do anything exciting or were you at work ?.

I've just finished nights and as usual am totally knackered, but I can look forward to some alcohol tonight, only to help me sleep, you understand .

I think I am getting too old for all this police business, ended up being assaulted or having fights Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. What is wrong with people, evryone ends up getting drunk and then want to fight me. First one was a bloke who put his ex girlfriends windows through and then tried to head butt me, the second were two blokes who beat up a taxi driver and then tried to beat me up and the last was a drunk driver who nearly ran me off the road and then kicked off when i tried to arest him. I've got a few cuts and bruises but nothing too bad, .

Anyway three days off now to chil and sleep and drink .

Did you make it out over the weekend, I did not get into town much as you can guess, so I did not have the chance to look out for you.

nah i didn't go out at all this weekend,i was workin,thur/fri&sun till 10pm,and sat night i waas off work,but couldn't be arsed goin out..i'll save it for this sat,coz ive got a fancy dress party to go to,then maybe a few of us may go around town afterwards makin fools of ourselves...oh well nowt new there then

I am just fine, listening to music on the PC and drinking red wine and generally chilling out.

What are you going as at the fancy dress ?, last one I went to I went as Elvis !, I bet yours will involve suspenders and them old thigh lenght boots !!!, sorry just my imagination getting the better of me.

i did try a few costumes on but most wouldnt fit around me s very well ,so ive made do with a wenches costume...

Wine disgusting!! how dare you, I love it , I have nearly finished a bottle of Rioja, its like an angel crying on you're tongue, great stuff.

So you like munching nuts do you , I have just eaten a packet of almonds and it beats eating packets of crisps, though I don't know which is more fattening.

I do love pistachios too but i always end up with their shells in the most uncomfortable pleces, they get everywhere.

I know what you mean about being bored, TV is so crap and the conversation is non exsistant in our house, good to chat with you though

Oh Em you are being naughty again , you need to keep a firm hand on any nuts you are munching, this will stop them ending up in strange places and give you total control.

What time do you put the master of the house to bed, helen is all tucked up at 7.30, I am reading her 'The Lion The Witch and The wardrobe' at the moment, its great reading all those old childrens books just finished 'Charlie and the chocolate factory', I think I enjoy them more than Helen.

Where is the fancy dress party and what is the occasion ?, just want to know in case the bizzy's are called there so I can aviod it!.

Not too bad Em,

I've been off had a nice lie in, til 9.30, which is late for me. Did a bit of washing and cleaning and a nice long bath. I love a long deep bath I usually put a CD on today it was a classical one, one of Beethoven's symphony's. And I usually read a book in the bath too, it makes the pages go a bit crinkled, today I was reading a book called 'Is This a Man'.

Do you like any classical stuff ?.

wow sounds like a nice relaxing day then..
well ive been to work this morning,until 3pm..came home,washed me hair,then took little-un around to me ex's mum&dads and i ended up staying there for about 2hrs,which was quite weird,coz thats the first time ive stayed there longer than 10mins,since we split up over 4yrs ago,and they only live round the corner from me..,i then come home and waited formy best mate,then we went for a late tea at the Micklehead,then she stayed at mine till 10:30,and so now here i am...

Yeah i don't mind abit of classical,tho its not often i listen to it these days,unless its Phantom Of The Opera,but i will listen to most types of music..

I went out for my tea too, but not to the Micklehead ended up at Quattros and had a nice lasanga.

Do you get on with your ex in laws, mine hate me with a vengence and I have not stepped foot over their door since my divorce, but there again I have not stepped foot in my own parents house since then either. I told you my mum was ill ? well she is ok now, so I can put off the death bed reconcilliation for a bit.

Thinking about it alot of people hate me!, at least my kids like me, I think I am a good dad, and thats something I suppose.

There I go again, getting all serious and stuff.

Its good to have a best mate isn't it. I have one, an old school mate, I think its important to keep in touch with old friends. A lot of people in my job only have other police men as mates, I would hate that, I rarely socialise with police, but I am close with about 5 or 6 old school mates, you know people you can trust.

I saw you again last night!!, or I think it was you.

Did you end up in fancy dress round town ?.

I saw a group of girls in fancy dress going down Westfield Street at about 1 am. One of them was dressesd as a red indian squore and she waved and blew a kiss at me !. There were 4 or 5 other girls behind her and one of them could have been described as a wench. Was this you ?. Problem was I did not get a good look as the 'Wench' had her head turned round and was shouting somehing down one of the other girls ear's. If it was you, you looked like you were having a good time and had had a few drinks .

Any way hope you are feeling better, I am going to work soon so hope to speak in the week.

yeah that was my mate helen with the Indian outfit on.i was with her.my dress was very unflattering,it was a good costume tho,after the party quite a few people made their way around town,so i would imagine town would have been full of people lookin silly..(nowt new there then).
i had a brilliant night,really funny,and i was in disguise,but eveyone still knew who i was and i was very drunk again,felt quit ill yesterday,but i still had to go and meet 10mates in the micklehead to discuss our yearly girly weekend away.so cant wait for that.
