Well, TC got off very early this morning and sent us a text message to say she had actually got on her plane home (it was a bit nervous-making as there wasn't much time from when the bus arrived in Jerez and when her flight left). So . . . phew!
Also had a bit of a time finding a place for us all to have dinner last night. Saturday night - all the best tapa bars on my list were totally full. So we finally ended up in a place that I'd only been to a couple of times before and it turned out to be quite wonderful. Amazing food and also very good service. So that place is now going on my list for future meets.

You can call me TC Posted Mar 26, 2006
"Future meets" !!! Yay-hay!!
Hi everyone - the return journey went exactly to plan. I'm home and bathed and fed and ready for bed now. Feet all blisters!!
All my best wishes to everyone still there. Will e-mail the photos to Azahar tomorrow.

Back home in rainy Belfast
Flight landed just after midnight, so it was pretty late by the time we got to bed.
meanwhile I'd got a phone call yesterday afternoon telling me my son had been having a party in the house while I wasn't here, so I'm just having a quick survey of the damage (nothing too terrible, but upsetting none-the-less, and am very disappointed in him)
Azahar and Noggin, thak you so much for organising, we had a fabulous time and will definitely be back!
Bon voyage to all the rest

Dai the Death, "My other sink's a Porsche" Posted Mar 27, 2006
Big thank you for all who made the last few days so memorable (when I could rember them!) and enjoyable.
LOt of thought, time and effort made by Azahar and Noggin, and Seville will definetly be on my return list, maybe sooner than you think
Lovely to meet everyone and John's Berlitz guide to essential Spanish phrases was just brilliant, although at this point I must apologise for the volume used to read out such gems as:
" Next to the apples"
"I had a heart attack (blank) weeks ago"
and
"She is unconcious, help me get her to her room!"
Safe journey home to those still travelling

Az,
Is MoG still there? If she is, could you ask her to check her space and specifically her message centre...?

Just had a look, SoRB - that sounds wonderful!
We're all meeting for one last tapa fiesta
this evening - I'll text message Teuchter so maybe MoG will have a chance to check her PS at T's hotel before going to the bar.

Blues Shark - For people who like this sort of thing, then this is just the sort of thing they'll like Posted Mar 27, 2006
I'm glad to hear it was all such a great success.
Maybe next time we won't be in the middle of buying a house/moving/decorating.

Though I don't know what all this 'maybe June before it gets too hot' rubbish is.
I personally recommend late August during a heatwave. Seriously. Made me appreciate CAC all the more for walking through that heat to get there.

azahar Posted Mar 27, 2006
And of course more HEAT = more SANGRIA. I think you and SLG still hold the Bar Campanario record for most sangria ever drunk at one sitting by two people. And that time you were here in July and *not* during a heat wave . . .

And we could still walk afterwards, and even hold a semi-intelligible conversation. Which is about as good as we ever get.
And we we didn't start any trouble nor nuffink. Just drank a lot.

HavenĀ“t had a text message - but have read this, so will point MoG in direction of computer later.

D'you know? I never even got to try any sangria. Or paella. There's only one solution...

A few more photos . . . mostly of The Last Supper this evening. It was totally and also lots of fun. Once again we raised our

pss
Just to say that *I* really like them all, which is why I put them up, but as I didn't get people's permission first (a bit complicated all things considered) I will certainly respect anyone's wish to have a photo removed.

Anyone else suffering from Tapas Withdrawal Syndrome?
I've been playing around with my photos of Seville - Ben gave me a masterclass in pc/photo technical stuff last night.
