I always like to see what people I've met on h2g2 look like in real life. I have only one photo of me on my computer, and unfortunately my tongue is sticking out in it and I'm wearing a dinner jacket, but what can you do?

I think for the moment I would prefer keeping it here in my journal and not 'advertise' it elsewhere. Otherwise it might no longer be my 'friends photo album'. I could end up with photos of people I've never heard of or spoken to and that really wasn't the point of it (though I might change my mind later). For now I like doing it this way. I hope that's okay with everyone else.

However, do tell other friends. For example, nice to see Sat and Dogster (your photos should be up shortly). Not everyone I know is on my friends list, after all. And the occasional 'friend of a friend' who is a total stranger wouldn't be a problem. I just wouldn't want to end up with pages of them, you know?

Anyhow, good point about posting the link on every page.

Re: captions.

I've put a few of my own under some of the photos. If you would like something specific or the one I've put there removed, just let me know. If you just leave a comment it will evenutally be pushed down the list of comments so it will no longer be directly under the photo. So have a think and let me know if you'd like a caption and what you want it to say.

Comments missing from the second page are because a certain researcher wanted one of their photos replaced on the first page so I had to delete and reupload the second page. Won't be doing that again!!!

So Jez, perhaps you would like those comments you made replaced as captions? Sorry, I should have written them down, let me know what you said again, okay?

Yes, a photo attachment to an email is fine. And yes, this is the old thread - I started a new one with the link to the album on it after it had got going. So after you have sent your photo and it is up in the gallery I'll let everyone know here:
