'Rich should at least know how to make cream tea, I think'
Make tea. Cut scone in half. Smear on clotted cream and jam.
Not particularly specialist stuff

Nick.
Clotted cream is very thick cream, you have to spread it rather then pour it
Rich.
It depends whether or not you can make good tea. I've had cream teas, where the tea is not even drinkable

I've been in the hotel trade since I was six; I hope I've got the hang of making a decent brew by now

Just leaving the ironing for a moment, to see what you Ladies fancied for Dinner today?
The first choice is Gazpacho, prepared in the Industrial Blender, and prepared very quickly.
Alternatively, as B'Elana said, I could do Frankfurter GrĂ¼ne Sauce, in the small electric Herb mixer?
No? Not tempted, how about a home-made Tagliatelli Carbonara, using the pasta maker, that needs a bit more use?
The Oven? How about Star-gazey Pie? with fresh seasonable organic vegetables?
Or my favourite, Steak and Guinness 'Nealarole' with Dumplings, cooked in the slow cooker... Gives us time to stroll around Kew.
Or something healthy, like a brace of Trout on the gruiddle, with an olive-oil drizzled salad?
You did mention a Curry, which I could do in the french cast-iron Marmite, but it would mean inviting at least another 5 people, as I only use it full
Dessert, did you say? Well, it has got to be my own secret recipe for Rhubarb Crumble. Just don't expect to move afterwards.
Right, back to the ironing. BTW did you have any sewing or darning that needed doing, while I'm here?

Just say what you want. Your wish is my desire.
I shall be having Savoury mince, with onion and mushroom, and carrot and broccoli, with Jacket spud. Very healthy, and will be enough for the week. Not sure on seasoning yet, but will include vinegar

Bilmey Neal. Thats some menu I really don't expect you to go to all that trouble you know. After walking round the gardens all day, i'll not have much of an appetitie and would feel terribly guilty if i could'nt eat much. Maybe a light snack, with some tea?
