Well, yeah, we do play fast, but it was Stuart who wrote the songs for this one, and he aint renowned for his groundbreaking lyrical talent lol
Im the main songwriter, so the songs from the other ones last atleast 2 minutes most of the times.
I might be moving to Birmingham sometime, so i can leave the band im currently in, and form a new band, with me as the singer.... cause i really want to have a creative band..... not a cliched new wave punk band.

Sounds like a good plan.
I really wanted to be a rock star when I was younger (mid-twenties, so not that much younger) and I gave it my best shot. Unfortunately, being in a band brought the shy girl hidden in me right back out, and I suffered from such bad stage fright that I was kicked out of the band.
I'm a better writer than singer, but sometimes I wish I could have another go. You know, in a more shouty-type kind of band. Garage punk would suit me just fine - nobody would care very much if I hit all the right notes or not, and I could still wear my spangly tops.
Unfortunately I don't know anybody who's into that type of music, and word is out in my backwater of a town that I'm a bad singer (as opposed to a baaaaaad singer...)

Thats a pity hun.... Maybe you'll get a chance to be in a band again.
I love garage punk, but its not the kinda band i wanna be in. Although its great, and its energetic, it isnt creative anymore.
I wanna create new styles of music.

I was a singer in a band from 86 to 91... wrote all lyrics and most of the guitar- and bass-stuff as well... Our name was "System of Hate" and we had the great pleasure to travel as far as to Newcastle and have a gig there (remember, I live in Frankfurt/Germany). They nicknamed us "Mamü (my nickname in RL) & The Banshees"... up to now I don't have *any* records of Siouxsie - but it's my voice, can't help it... I never ever had stage fright, don't ask me why, I am not too self-assured after all.

Draven, please be famous so we can say we knew you from before That's what all my mates said about me when my novel came out. I'm not famous now, obviously. But I hope to be, at some point.

Italian, unfortunately Oh, it's my little joke. Everybody assumes I'm an Anglophone, but I'm actually Italian, and I write in my mother language.
The book was put out by a very small publisher, is almost sold otu and won't be reprinted, but I'm using it as a springboard: it's easier to be considered for publication if you've already got a book out. Deadsexy is also quite good, I think, in a minimal-story kind of way, and a lot of people liked it (I've made quite a few friends through that book... close friends). I've found my path in life, all it takes now is the perseverance and courage to walk it, knowing I will stumble, it won't be even and it's currently uphill...

Oh, its in Italian?
Well, as I know literaly no Italian, theres no point in me checking it out lol
But good luck with the writing.
I wish you all the best xx

I'm going into the rehearsal studio after a 3 year lay-off.
Can't find a bass player, so me and the drummer are just gonna play REALLY, REALLY LOUD!

The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion (wildly erotic set... seen them twice already) don't have a bass player. Neither did The Spinanes (ahhhh, 90s jangly pop...), and, if memory serves me correctly, neither do The Dandy Warhols (one of my favourite bands ever).
So... you're in extremely good company

It didn't hurt the Cramps either!
Only trouble is that all those bands had two guitarists and I will be the only one.
Luckily, being a guitar player, my ego is the size of a planet and thinks we can pull it off!

The Spinanes only had two members - singer/guitarist and drummer.
And what about The White Stripes? (Strange that I hadn't thought about The White Stripes before).

Of course, we will be accused of jumping on the W. Stripes bandwagon but it really is just a lack of members ... not that I care ..... (ooohhhh, so punk rock !)

Will the members of the HPS be allowed a copy of any subsequent new recordings?
Have you got your CD and tape yet, SDM? Sorry I took so long to send them....
