Mucical description...Hmmm.
He was a member of our greatest punk band in the late 70´s early 80´s -"Ebba Grön" he sang and played the guitar, moved from there to "Imperiet" Moved himself to Amsterdam and formed a band called "Peace, Love and Pitbulls"(PLP)they played "industrial" influenced music, lyrics mostly in english. Now he has made two solo albums in swedish again.
Ebba Grön more or less kicked off the punk scene in Sweden, influences from Britain of course, but also from an alternative musical scene that had been around during the 70´s in the county that was very political.
What more can I say, you have to hear him sing!

When the ignorance of Italian record store owners is advantageous for the customer: yesterday I bought the Raveonettes' "Whip it up" (Cramps-style songs in b minor, wheeeeee! I was wiggling my hips all over the place) for the hefty sum of € 8.90. It was on sale; they probably thought that the cover art was too rètro for it to be a new release.
Haa haa haa haa

I got the (not quite complete) discography of this band called Organic that I'd read about in a few zines for £1, while my friend spend £5/6 ordering just one 7" of theirs (which is on the CD) from America
Yet another excuse to tease her!

Wow, I just found this while trawling the internet. Mike, the guy that I do our little record vending enterprise with, never told me he made us a website

I have just heard a rumour that The Clash are touring the USA with Bruce Springsteen on vocals !!!
Quoting the Blues Shark -
"That noise you can hear is Joe, spinning in his grave"
On a lighter note, this months MOJO magazine has articles on The Clash and Damned + *new punk* bands and a free 26track CD with some nifty songs on it.

Ugh, that's awful. Any links of verification, either to threads on h2g2 or elsewhere, about the 'Clash'/Springsteen tour?
Still haven't had the chance to post your things yet, sdm, but I'll try to do it tonight. I'm cursed as I don't live near a post box and rarely pass one on my daily travels

R/Man - any links, I'll post here .... i got my info via phone-text!
Your MC5 went in the post yesterday - enjoy.
D/Dug (stalker) .... "Surfing Bird" came out on The Cramps 1st 6 track, self titled ep but most commonly heard on a collection of early stuff called "Gravest Hits" complete with 3D cover.
The Ramones did a good version as well!

The Cramps rocked! I've still got 'Gravest Hits' and 'Psychedelic Jungle'. When I was in high school, I used to play 'The Crusher' in the car all the time, my dad thought it was great.
Hi, Bryan, it's nice to meet you!
Rocket Man, I've rummaged through my entire house and can't find any 'original' recordings of Jello's spoken word... who knows where they've gotten off to. I'd be happy to send a little list of what I've got on my computer, and burn a disc for you if you like? Sorry it took me soooo long- I had exams last week then caught strep throat for the holiday.
