The albums are called 'Sing sing, death house' and 'The Distillers' and were both released on HellCat Records.
I wish I'd start listening to heavy metal instead of the Ramones, so that I'd have some inspiration to actually become good at guitar.

Yeah, heavy metal sucks. All that spandex and those awful mullets make it a joke.
The Distillers albums aren't too hard to find - good luck!

Yep, I am from Germany, but I do know many things... Anyway, do you know Bad News? They were quite funny! *thinks of all the vegetables making the band look like a proper 70s rock band*

I do! I have the record and both of the videos, and still carry round half of the dialogue in my head since I bought them, which was more than ten years ago.
Colin - "In my book bells go clang, so leave me alone!"
Vim - "There aren't any f-ing sheep in Mongolia"
Den - "That's a good name for a band"
And many, many more.

I think I remember the name Bad News from somewhere, but I'm not sure that I've heard any of their music
Wizo are German aren't they? I've heard one song on a compilation that my friends sometimes play. One of the Fat Wreck Chords comps or something...

Perhaps a little explanation might be in order here... Bad News were a spoof British heavy metal band, created for a series of one-off TV Comedy Dramas called the Comic Strip. The original was called 'The Bad News Tour', and it was so well-received that they did another one called 'More Bad News', and released an album of six songs from the TV shows and some new comedy material in between, of the band's arguments while recording, which is totally f-ing hilarious.
The band were four comedians - Adrian Edmondson, Rik Mayall and Nigel Planer, who'd all featured in the classic student sitcom 'The Young Ones' - and Peter Richardson, who was one of the prime mover behind the Comic Strip series. They actually played the Monsters of Rock festival at Donington, and were bottled off. You see this on the TV shows.
Hey, I feel an Edited Guide entry coming on...

I think I have that song on a compilation somewhere...
Ah yes, here it is. The song 'RAF' is on Fat Music Volume V. What did you think of the Fat Wreck compilation that it's on?

JockMacAbre Posted Mar 1, 2003
I think its brilliant.... it had the Anti-Flag song that really got me into em.
And Sick of it All just friggin rule.... the only song i couldnt stand on that was the Bracket one
