I know this isn't PC and she'd probably shrug me off as being anti-feminist and denigrating her for doing stuff that a man would get away with, but...
I can't stand Courtney Love, honestly. She thinks she can get away with murder just cos she was in a formerly successful band. She is a glorified groupie; only, a nasty one.

I've never really heard much of Hole, but can't say the stuff I have heard blew me away. Is the comparison of Brodie Armstrong (lead singer of the Distillers) to Courtney Love fair, in your opinions? I know a lot of people have compared the two women, in both a good and bad way.

Gluecifer
Leather Nun
Backyard Babies
The Hellacoptors
Hives
The Hydromatics
I *think* most of these come from your neck of the woods!

Yeah you`re right, don´t recognize Gluecifer or Hydromatics though but I might not be totally up to date...The others are well known.
