Hi Terri et al

Yippee, my fiends are turning up in droves, all of you, so great to hear what's happening at your end!

*sulks* Why isn't there a facility on here to see all the previous posts in a row, so i can reply to everyone?*
PC, for email, just replied.
Milla, oh gawd, if you can get to Hawaii, wow, go for it!!!, however, Scandinavia is a place i haven't yet visited (though P has) & would love to, likewise Iceland, just a bit worried about how i'd cope with the cold...i have a hand knitted jumper made for me by Icelandic friend from college in 1972, but fear i might need more now; i could get mistaken for a very blubbery seal & eaten by a whale!
Animal, i reckon we will somehow meet up in Youkay; along with Lil & the Brummie contingent, probably get arrested for disturbing the peas & end up in jail, with no Get Out Of Jail Free card (wrong tax year or something); but worth trying for the craic!!!
Thinker: hope things improve, do keep talking, it really helps to have nutty fiends like 'us lot' around when things are tough; here's a , aww, isn't he cute, to up to meanwhile...we have a vast collection of teddy bears, plus real fluffy animals to pet, so if there's any way you can get a cheap flight (try B'ham/Knock); we'd be delighted to give you a break from things.
Willem!!!Wow, i was only just today trying to identify a strange plant & said to P "What we need is Willem; he would know all this & more!" P is intrigued by train/bus/general transport timetables; i showed him my 'Africa on a shoestring' ; is the Blue Train still going?
Off to bed now, has been a busy lovely day pottering about, i planted blackcurrant bushes, general gardening, made chees & onion quiche, summer fruit tart, we sat in the sun, P added to various bits of roofing & orderded next stage of porch glass; we hope this will be a real suntrap on those lovely Winter days when sun shines to combat the wintry blues!
I feel very expansive with love & life, am sending it towards all you lot, recycle it please!

Love is amplified and recycled, as per request!
Scandinavia is not cold in the summer - we have 20-25 deg C these days, so you should be ok. Wintertime is different of course, but our houses are warm and cosy. So come.

Thank you Terri for the your very kind thoughts and wishes for me and my mam and thanks for the lovely and very cute cuddly . I saw my mam yesterday and she is being taught how to use a walking frame by the physiotherapist and hopefully will be able to go around with out it. My mam was staying in a care home, when the fall happened and she is one of the more mobile residents. Thank you for the very kind offer of a stay over, but it will be a while before I can come, as I need to save up.
When I lived in Harold Hill in Essex we had blackcurrants growing in the garden, I tried to make blackcurrant jam but it was a bit on the burnt side but successfully made ice cream out of it. Chese and onion quiche and the summer fruit tart sounds delicious.

Come to think of it, I make a detour through the Sonoran Dessert and have a look at Mexico-City first before taking the plane back to my home in the Pyrenees.

Pit! What a lovely surprise and coincidence. I just signed in to post at your PS a documentary made by my all time favorite hero Gunther Wallraff.
I was sooo pssd off this morning. This is the second time that I'm accussed of jumping cue at the Lidl. What these women do is putting their trollies in the cue and then run off for more. Meanwhile the cue moves but they are not back in time to push their trolly forward. So when I arrive, I put my things on the belt standing there waiting and then after a couple of minutes I hear someone muttering behind my back "Well, you could have asked me first. That would have been more polite ...". This old lady this morning demanded I apologized to her. I told her I would sue her for harrassment and slander if she wouldn't back off.
Good thing is I found this documentary while I was looking for the non-existent email-adress of the supermarket to put in a complaint about the cueing behaviour of their customers.

Xcuse me, there must be some language mixup here...bad marks, love - "Supermarket" and "Behaviour" are never to be used in one sentence.

I threw my dictionary out last year. It's stay with me since 1974 had a devestating effect on it. It had become 'spineless'. The Sonoran Desert might prove to be a huge dessert after all.

Look! You can get a LIDL job!!! Work from the inside!
http://www.lidl.co.uk/uk/home.nsf/pages/c.c.info.index
We found on our mini European tour that most Liddlers are easren Europeans ( I made a pint of asking the nice cashier where they came from; usually they react with astonishment that someone actually noticed it's a human doing the job!)
I have to say though, that the cat litter is the best & cheapest i've ever found, totally chemical free, forms into nice clumps, easy to dispose of without upsetting delicate toilet sensibilities
Mods: This is NOT an advert, merely a comment, please do not yikes!

Is this code for smut?
Really, how many do you think you can fool by pretending to be talking about cat litter!

A job at the Lidl, I rather jump into the St. Andreas Vault.
In the city I live in it's mostly young people from Maroccan families who work there. Cocky young boys dressed in designer clothes, and girls with dark mournful eyes. They hide their hair under headscarves, arms covered with synthetic clothing in the middle of a heatwave, temperatures rising up to 32 degrees C.
I buy Fair Trade and and little sacks with nuts and raisins.
I'll give the cat litter a try next time I go there.
It's good to know that Terri & Joda are reunited.

Hiya all. Google's gone stupid on me; it's deleted all my bookmarks, including hootoo; but i found my way back (where there's a willy, there's a way!)*inserts smut, just for Lil*
Today was old fair day here, which is load of stalls on the main street, selling loads of things. I bought some homespun wool, 4 s & 3 donkeys (yes, real ones, actually i paid only a half payment on one, the other half to be given when donkey is delivered, the other two i got free.)
We bumped into P's ex GF, which was interesting....
Had a grand singing craic in the pub; i got for my contribution, which was nice!
So what have 'you lot' been up to today?

Hi Terri and all
Grappling the basics of complicated fractions in my maths course and at home I have been getting to grips of cleaning a big mat from dirty marks with a spray foam carpet cleaner. It's getting cleaner slowly but I have to do it bit by bit.
Had an incident two or three days ago, my neighbours had one of their mini fight parties except this time without the karaoke. Well the guests were totally and even with my windows closed I could hear them talking very loud and slurred.

EEEK! Complicated fractions!!!! I am useless at maths to you Thinker for tackling this stuff; i can't even remember my own phone number!
As to carpets, hmm, Edda managed to vomit nicely on the flokati one yesterday; its been hosed down & is currently lurking in the porch. Maybe ask Lil's advice, since she is Hootoo Expert on Matts & Rugs?
Today has been (yet again!) Consult re: nasty leg; he reckons to continue with antibiotics, it seems to be healing, but extremely slowly. Meanwhile i have gone the legal route, now have solicitor specialising in Medical Negligence on the case, plus official "possible adverse reaction to" form; if it prevents even one person from suffering like this & forcing major pharmaceutical company to print a warning on packaging, it's worth the hassle, i feel.
It seems a bit ridiculous that the package insert states possible adverse reactions in ; but no mention of hoomans who inject the , as far as i know, sheep cannot self inject and they tend to move when being stabbed with sharp needles, plus i am not the sole person on the planet with allergies!
We shall see. Tomorrow we are off into the Metropolis of Sligo Town, getting various bits for home renovation (a continuing process!), stocking up on food for me & & possible visitors etc, while P is off Infecting Solar panels for a week or more... i will really miss him., but it's impossible to go along this time; i may get called to Disability Appeal or hospital check up etc; plus the neighbour is away, so someone has to be here to check his cattle; fair enough, he checks our when we are away.
Snaily: if you are lurking; can you please let me know if the visitor has confirmed her arrival dates, heard nothing & don't have her email until i re-install the wretched system!
(You can pass on the phone number, we can't pick her up, P will be away, but have details of how to get here from Dublin or wherever she is)

Thanks Terri, I even done various types of metric measurements and how to convert them into imperial. I have started reading the Harry Potter books and I finished reading the first two The Philosphers Stone and the Secret Chamber and now I am on the third one which is the Prisoner of Azakaban.
For the three or four months there have been road works on the same road and now they done a new lot, 3 lots of roadworks but everytime I pass on the bus, I never see work been done on it.
I hope that your leg problems will get better very soon.
Key: Complain about this post
