PRIZES!!!!
No - I haven't been riding again. I wish I could, now I've started again, but it's really expensive and will probably be something I do every 3 or 4 weeks. I may try to go on a riding holiday later this year though.
Welcome back Magster
The Magster Posted May 21, 2003
A riding holiday would be bliss once the blisters had healed after the first few days ...I don't really want to visit the US but horse riding through the Grand Canyon appeals to me no end. Go muck out a stable then they will give you a ride for free

Morning Chap(esse)s,
Plan of the day: sitting at Lord's with a high temperature and a snotty nose, watching the rain fall and seeing people in white clothes running on and off the pitch and bowling just enough overs to prevent a refund: bah.

Good morning all
Vegetables are still soggy and the weather person remains dead. Wish I could read all day, that would be nice, instead I shall be planning a battle with a local head teacher who is really starting to get up my nose. What is it with teachers and silly, petty rules? Why do they feel the need to play silly power games for no purpose other than to try and intimidate parents. Urmmpphh. I am in a bad mood, can you tell???

Hi Hazel...Oh yes, I will be able to deal with mere head teacher but it is the way one deals with mere head teacher. I do not wish to have my child the subject of rank indiscrimination just because his mother has a mouth and uses it. Teachers would say that they would never do such a thing but we all know the truth! I am not personally, intimidated by the head teacher and her petty pronouncements but others are. She just winds me up...can you tell This particular one makes Saddam look like a baby. Still, she hasn't really met me yet

LOL CG
I am just working out strategies at the moment, war has not yet commenced. On reflection, as they break up for half term tomorrow, I think I will go for the kill on the first day back, when she is still in relaxed mode. It will be messy and you will have all the gory details I hate to use a stereotype but she is one of those old Lancashire Battleaxes, fifties, dyed (very badly) blonde (bright yellow variety), wears a badly fitting suit usually in very bright colours, no tights or stockings but black high heeled shoes. She invades your personal space when addressing you as if you were a platoon. Got the picture?!

Good morning.
Sad news, I have found out that I am allergic to one of my favourite fruits, woe is me over the beautiful raspberry.
Magster, That lady sounds as though she would get under your skin at the mere sight of her. The gam plan sounds very good, is there an way that you could raise an army of parents if you had to? That way she wouldn't be liable to dismiss you as easily.
There's one thing I particularly don't like about your description, Pumps and no stockings? she must have disgusting feet!

Hello Petunia,
what a shame to have to forego raspberries! (with cream - mmmmm). Never mind - there's always I am just waiting for the English crops to appear - it's great when you can go to the market and just buy loads of them.
How did you find out you were allergic - I mean, did the allergy just appear or did you just realise what was happening?

Fabulous news, there's a possibility that the raspberries are not the culprits but that it is actually instant French vanilla cappuccino. Also not good, but maybe the raspberries are ok. I've brought both in for questioning and will eat neither until it's cleared up and then I can have one at a time and see what I react to. The way i found out was that I got hives on my upper lip. Later in life I won't need collagen injected into my lips I'll just eat whatever I'm allergic to.

"Instant French vanilla cappuccino". Well, I think I could survive without that. In fact - seeing as I've survived without it so far, I know I can
I've got some stuff to do now - but will probably see you later.
