Hi BoP.
Beware of that goat, it's a Judas-Goat, placed as a lure...
Breadfruit? Never tried it. Is it any good?

bowl of petunias Posted May 8, 2003
Well I really only know how it looks. Never tried it.
That's why I'm wondering too. Aparently it's from New Guinea.
If it stays true to the name then congratulations New Guinea you've combined two food groups in one!sounds too good to be true if you ask me.
I wonder if anyone knows what it tastes like?

Hmmm, a bit like the concept of chocolate brazil nuts, but occuring in the wild?
I'm OK with the bread half, but which particular fruit have they crossed it with? Not lemon, I hope...

It would be incredible if it were with watermellon. And then with grapes. They could market the grapes as being "new and improved Bite sized breadfruit!"
*side note--after a product is re-released as new and improved, should the previous version be newly packaged as old and crappy?*

A good question. Should the "classic" (IE: old) version carry an apology, on the grounds it was clearly an inferior product?
Another thought - Is Ciabatta bread with sun-dried tomatoes "Fruitbread", the opposite of "Breadfruit"? Hmmmmm.

And if you were to make Ciabatta bread with bread fruit on it would it then be called Bread fruit bread?
the breadfruit paradox is just increasing in size! so many questions!!
Maybe that's why no one has ever eaten it. They looked at the name and could never get over the complicated issues involved before it became mouldy and inedible.

a bit of a long story. It starts out with the rights of goats being defended and is continuing now with a philosophical debate surrounding breadfruit and the properties thereof.
so how's your day been?

Oh, just a minute.
China and most of Asia are reporting massive viral cloud sightings while things are clearing upin the neighbouring city to the sars capital of Canada. Sunny and beautifull is all that is reported along with a side of yogurt as a preview to a lunchtime walk.
satisfied?

Don't let V Max mislead you about Essex, BoP: it is like a smaller version of the Yukon.

Ali,
In what way, exactly?
(I won't defend Essex that much anyway, as I just live here. I come from Kent, "The Garden of England").

Sounds like a nice place. are you allowed coming back or is the entrance blocked by a flaming sword? Actually the weather here is very beautiful right now. It's 19degrees and I just came back from my lunch time walk. Ottawa has allot of scattered parks. a very green city. The thing that I don't really like about Canada is that it doesn't have the History that Europe does. That's my only complaint...oh and SARS and -40 degree weather.
