Mornin' all, and welcome back Brad.
Still stuck on a customer site, so can't get to h2g2/boards much, but might get out to play tomorrow. I've just been told (by the senior project manager on this fiasco) that I'm only needed part-time after this week. I wonder if the fact that I referred to him as "Weasel-boy" had anything to do with that decision? Maybe if I grew up a bit they might give me better jobs to do...

I'm trying to get Johnston to concede that the war is about oil but he's gone AWOL. It's soooo irritating...else, you're right: the boards are a tad dull.

Unfortunately I said it whilst sober, as he won't give me a proper Terms of Reference (boundaries around the work I'm responsible for) and keeps moving the goal-posts. Also, he looks like a weasel. Still, it gave my colleagues a laugh, so was well worth sacrificing and hopes of pay-rise/bonus/promotion/career advancement...
Ho hum, sometimes these things just have to be said!
Anyone looking to hire a project manager?

unfortunately the system is organised around the souless weasel types benefiting the most from it (especially the health industry bur applies to the corporate office world too)- get yourself in a masonic lodge - sorted - all you have to give up is your conscience and a moral sense or accountability
