I went out on Saturday night....
Posted May 8, 2006
On Saturday night, I went out to see Kieran Kane, Kevin Welch and Fats Kaplin at the Rainbow Bistro.
It was a fanstastic show -- aside from the portion where we were stuck by the table of loud people who, after paying $20 cover to see a premiere Blues/Folk band, talked and laughed loudly all the way through and never clapped once, and the three businessmen on the make who kept trying to pick my friend up and complained about the fact that the music wasn't "the kind you could dance to" (which you could, as evidenced by the dancefloor filled with people) and kept asking us where they could go to listen to "good rock music". I opined that they could try the Bare Fax a few blocks away but that didn't go over well and we finally moved to the front of the room to stand.

Video

I have been thinking about doing a series of videos for some time. The following video is a rough version of one I am currently working on. I have to increase the quality of the video but the audio (taken directly from the CD) works really well.

I have to find a way of placing the camera up so I don't get the dashboard and the wipers, as well. As I say... it's a a rough version.
