I've had a reply from lil this morning, she had a bad night, and is still in painshe's hoping things will settle down to enable her to come home for the weekend. I've asked her to let me know either way and will post an update here as soon as I know. Group

Just got a text, she's feeling rather sore, and has just been told that she's going to have to stay in over the weekend .

She's off for a CT scan this afternoon.

with all the good will thoughts heading her way, she'll bounce back to good health, no worries

Oooh, I hope they've finished all her Lab tests, you dont want tests and a scan at the same time, could cause all sorts of trouble.

I've just found out about Lil.

I hope she gets better soon.

Latest update from Lil's hubby.
Lil has had the scan, results won't be known till either later tonight or more likely tomorrow. She will be in till monday at the earliest anyway. Hubby is under order's to take in a bacon sarnie tomorrow, looks like hospital food is living upto it's usual standard then.
The anti-biotics have sorted the water infection, now the medics need to sort out what's causing the pain, at present possibilities range from Ulcer to Appendix. In other words they don't really know at this stage. Hopefully the cat scan might shed some light on the issue.
