h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I've just returned from seeing Ruth who is a healer of my long acquaintance. A remote healing session was performed, so lil should have felt some tingling in her tummy around 2.30pm, and I added lil's real name to the Prayer for Healing book.

Ruth is confident lil will be alright, (she specifically said her temperature will drop), and she will attend the Hull meet.

I've been internet-less for a few days and the backlog is enormous, can someone please give me an update?

last update on lil was one dot back, ST's posting (posted 8 hours ago):

To clarify a few points:-
Today is day 5 of the full anti-biotic treatment, once that's done then further blood tests will be done tomorrow to see what affect the treatment is having. The fact her white cell count is down to normal levels is a good sign.
She had a 'bad day' yesterday and the doctors explained to hubby why they won't operate yet. As with any surgery, their is risk involved, that risk increases depending on the overall health of the patient, the more 'unwell' the patient the higher the risk. With Lils overall condition and the issues with her neck, this puts her into the higher risk group. However, that being said, surgery is still a last resort.
Lil is still being kept under observation on the surgical ward, that in itself is good news, it means she's not in either a High Dependency Ward or Intensive care. (which is where she would be if there were any serious concerns about her well being).
Lil certainly sounded better this morning, we chatted for nearly 30 minutes. She sends her love to all.
The probability is we won't know much more about whether the treatment has had the desired effects until tomorrow.

just spoken with Lil and a big IF she can behave herselfthere is a possibility that she might be able to have the weekend at home(not sure if permanent or just the weekend)she
still has to wait a new set of results after this new course of antibiotics has finished, to see what the next move is
