Mostly Microsoft... I'm also considering some Cisco certifications... they have some nifty security certifications going...

Cisco? Isn't that some sort of glue?
Sorry, not much of a Geek here, I'm one of the teaming masses who have surrendered unconditionally to Bill Gates. Why bother?
Oh, and I've meant to ask: Why did you put up the -smiley and offe me a loo-brush? In-joke, I'm sure. But as it hold nothing whatsoever equine, I don't quite follow...
To me, it looks mostly like an offering of food to a couple of ...

Most of my certifications will actually be Microsoft. They have a large campus here, though not even remotely as large as in Redmond of course.
Cisco is the technology the internet is basically run on. They have some great internet security courses which companies need to keep their systems safe (or rather safer) from hackers and such...
The loo-brush thing is kind of a joke. The smiley looks more like a loo brush (or toilet scrubber, you choose your wording) than it does a flower so it's jokingly called that...

I see...
Well, let's hope that no foul mistakes are made, shall we?
Thanx for the info on Cisco. I suddenly remember having had a Cisco-router a while ago, would that be from the same company, or is it just a weird coincidence?
Ever met Stephen Hawking?

It is the same company. And no I haven't had the honor of meeting Professor Hawking, though he is an idol of mine... I keep a copy of 'A Brief History of Time' in my library, though I keep having to update it as he tends to change his mind about things...

Well, I guess it's not Cisco's fault that my before-provider of Internet was worse than bad. The kinda people who just kept treating us as if we were an inferior race or something...
Hey, I'm almost 33 years old, I don't deserve to be adressed "young friend" or worse when phoning for the N'th time to complain!
Today we are running on supreme connection again - and STABLE!
Anyho, yeah, I would have you figures for a Hawking-fan.
How about JRRT?

The problem with many 'puter geeks, especially of the 'tech support' variety is that they forget that not everyone knows these things about computers. If they did there would be no need for 'tech support'.
Now how did you have me figured for a Hawking fan? And yes, I like Tolkein as well. Actually I just really like reading. I'll be glad when I can once again read something that's not a technical manual.

You mean, like the phone book?
You sounded (read?) like a Hawking kinda person.
What else do you read? When able.
