well why not... keeps our minds active... hehe...

your mad highness: advertising?!... naaaah...
giving the essential support for our fellow LDers to get the recognition they deserve... or something like that anyway... hehe... and if that encourages other LDers to have a go at writing something well then EVEN better...

the "who dares wins" on the LDers badge is actually quite appropriate in a way...

we are daring and we are starting to win... as i said before we are being noticed now and we've been mentioned in a few places already [in a good way of course...]

it is very exciting in a way, the friends of LD having been founded ONLY two months ago and already quite a few things to be proud of...

i have to cut it short there as i only popped in to check my posts but i will come back to you later...

What is the challenge today?

Shall we split the split bits of the split atom? Solve the mysteries of the universe in alphabetical order? Discover the location of the chuck key to my electric drill?

obviously it would not have been possible to achieve all that on my own... but it's nice to see an idea developing into a real thing so fast...

also there is the advantage that h2g2 and the whole DNA/hub concept actually welcome e-community groups/clubs/whatever... so that does help a lot...

the funny thing is that it all started because i accidentally found THE solution for accessing long conversations with a digibox... then Manda offered to help start something for the Lders here... and of course the LD musketeers being around too made the LDers space very lively from the start... just to mention but a few things that contributed to why the friends of Ld is at this stage already...
