Cal's W*rk pit stop
Posted Sep 18, 2006
I say this because I have to go back in a minute
Anyhoo today we have a training
and one of the things we had to do is write down all the things/people who annoyed us with valid reasons why
I filled both sides of 3 foolscape sized paper
Then we had to write down all the people/things we really liked and why boths sides of one foolscape sized paper
Now I'm wondering if I'm just a person who is easially annoyed

Cal's Waiting room
Posted Sep 14, 2006
WARNING: there is no point to this journal what so ever
Seem to be spending a lot of time just lately either in waiting rooms or just generally waiting *looks at his watch*
Doctor's waiting room
Dentist waiting room
Hospital waiting room
waiting in traffic Jams (all the roads in Doncaster or at least the ones I travel on seem to have road works at the moment )
waiting for my dad
waiting for Scott
Waiting to ring Jack
Waiting for meetings to start
Maybe I should be a waiter
And so because of this I have now become a clock watcher, *sighs*
*looks at it watch*
Better go or I'll be late for W**k

My little Corner of this big old World
Posted Sep 2, 2006
Is a very happy place even on very rainy dark days
Because it is full of people I love
Jack, My Dad, a certain little hurracane know as my nephew.
Even better my litte corner has a nice little slice of hootoo friends
Some very old Floh, Evangeline, Batty, Cy
Some not so old ; Charlie, Laud and Bulletproof
And those who I miss; Fishfreak and GodBen.
Life is so good when you can see how lucky you are to have what you have instead of bemoaning your lot

Cal's Journal: shocking at parenting!
Posted Aug 4, 2006
ok so theres so many things to consider
now it's been very warm here just lately, much warmer than it usually is in this country, it's been the type of weather english people normally go abroad for. Anyhoo it was much cooler than it has been of late yesterday, and in the morning I dressed scott in a t-shirt as normal and took him off to nursery (yes I know it's the school holidays but scott goes to a private nursery).
When I got back home I suddenly realised how cool it was so spent the rest of the day worrying about how much of a crap uncle I am for sending him to school without a jumper and how his mother wouldn't have done that .
Then this morning we had quite a kerfuffle, turns out small children like to stay in a routine. This is Scotts routine:
Get up
Wake Uncle Cal up by shouting
Uncle Cal opens baby gate on bedroom
Scott runs out goes to see the hamster (dawf russian) to say morning and have a little chat.
say bye bye see ya to hamster
Uncle Cal carries scott into bathroom for face washing and cleaning of toothy pegs
Down stairs to get dressed, have a drink and off to nursery (he has breakfast at nursery)
today I tried to clean his teeth before he'd said hello to the hamster, Oh my god, major tantrums on a colosal scale!
Toddlers and babies are an untapped resource that could be used by the milertary, anyone faced with a tantrum of that size will surrender right away. It's like make it stop!
So here I am frazzled from my mornings escapades and wondering what tomorrow will bring
