Our lad has a liking for marmite, peanut butter and lettuce. As well as anything that is sea-based or related to dairy. It makes preparing a meal rather interesting.
Of course, the Lady- is much more discrete. She waits until he is being chased off, ... to get in to anything she can.

doesn't do that though no doubt she would if she could hop up on the counter.. everything around here does have a fine golden 'frosting' though..

Snowy used to be somewhat of a hooover where food was concerned, infact I'll go so far as to say I hardly had to use the dyson until she died

Cheese is a favourite of all 3 of our s. Mum usually takes cheese and biscuits up to bed with her, Emma used to eat the cheese off the top of the cracker, then eat the cheese and lick the butter off the cracker, now she eats the cracker too

Well I get to enjoy one thing from the that the ladies don't. One decides it's time I'm awake, and so sprawls on my chest and washes my chin. That delightful feel and sound of a rasp-like-tongue on a stubbly chin ... Really quite effective.

*giggles* This all makes me think of when I had my s.. When it was time to wake up one would sit on my chest, knead through my hair and drool all over my chin. It was invigorating... the other would just sit on the pillow by my head and look at me, then whack my nose with his paw.
I always said I could judge the temp outside by how many critters were in bed with me. Diva and Beastie (one of the cats) always slept with me. When it was cold Lestat (cat number 2) slept with me and when it was freezing my Coyote (big dog number 2) hopped in. And all in a full-size bed. All through winter I made a point of tinkling before bedtime as I was pretty much nailed in under all those animals all night. To be honest I'm impressed my antique bed held up under that kind of weight.

It really IS quite a chore to disentangle from sheets, pinned down by a load of furries, isn't it? But it's great practice if you ever want to be the next Houdini.

The s weren't the major problem. Diva weighs close to 90 lbs and Coyote was about 50 lbs.. plus is a very sound sleeper.. and she snores like a freight train..

Milady used to be quite accustomed to getting up and sleeping in the guest room. Between a 15 pound lady- and a 22-pound lad- AND me, all snoring ...
