I'll do Bush's mistakes.
Someone else can do the falsely idolised history of America.
And someone else can do the shortcomings of todays democrasy.

Being a devotee of the History Channel I can do Some More of America's Greatest Mistakes,
Vietnam
Gulf War 1 & 2
Korea (even tho it was a UN thing America likes to think it fought single handed)
Can't think of any more ATM it's late and my brain is still reeling from the last ep of 24
PS that is a great way of getting rid of the President, Revolutionary's take note

"the Americans voted for him they have to put up with him"
As Oberon pointed out Gore got 500,000 more votes and that was even after the alleged rigging in Florida.
I've recently noticed that America can't win a war without us. I'm talking about this century before some wiseguy mentions the War of Independence. We've been with the Americans for every war this century and they've been on the winning side every time. The only war they lost was Vietnam and that was the only war that we weren't there to support them.
If Bush wants to make an ammendment to the constitution about gay marriages that is just hippocrasy. Thae whole point about the Republicans is that they dislike Federal interference and let the states get on with it. Ammendments to the constitution are quite clearly Federal interference.
The US system is not democracy, most of the "democratic" systems in the world are engineered to prevent minority parties from getting any say. The only truly democratic system is proportional representation whereby a party that gets 5% of the votes get 5% of the seats.

dont forget the LAN radar system which is now in over 3/4 of the worlds oceans, this device causes severe injury (including eardrum collapse, collapsing of lungs and death) to whales, also it has been shown through teating that the sound waves are also very harmful to humans, when a diver was subjected to the sound at 160 decibels (the same sound that is heard over 100 miles from the "radar" source the test only lasted 14 minutes before the diver collapsed in fits and seizures which lasted for days after.

Hear Hear
I had my suspicions about that election, I used the words Another Nixon and Watergate and people stared at me as if to say 'Girlies should be seen and not heard', I love my X Files and my conspiricy theories and this is bugging me, I'd love to see Bush in the dock for Election Rigging and me saying 'I told you so'

Good point.
I agree proportional representation is a good idea. Hell, it's worked in New Zealand - http://www.elections.org.nz/elections/esyst/govt_elect.html

THere should be someway of taking democracy further than that though.
Like the richer the campaigner the more they can campaign.
They should have equal slots on campaign tv or something

They do. In the UK at least (I thought that's where you lived?). Every party is allowed to make a party political broadcast and it has to be shown, which is why you always get one from the Monster Raving Looney Party every General Election... Or are you talking about the US? Where only the top two parties (Democrats and Republicans) are allowed to participate in the televised 'debates'. I put 'debates' in commas cos at the last three Gore and Bush agreed on most issues!
