Pressuring the Russian government to not ratify the kyoto agreement.
Bombing iraq.
Sending soldiers to guard the oil fields (worth 4 trillion) instead of the hospitals.
Not having yet set up a referendum for Iraq to choose their own president.

And worst of all - Changing the history lessons of children so they better reflect america. Effectively brainwashing America's children.
Presumably they're leaving out the brutalities commited by the rebels to the loyalists, and anything and everything about the Native Americans and slavery.

Well thanks to Oliver Stone Hollywood stopped glamorizing the Vietnam War, the American soldiers comitted such atrocities against the Vietnamise people both in the North and the South, My Lai springs to mind and do you know America has the worst Human Rights Record in the 'civilized' world, Children on death row amoung others, Guantanimo Bay, the causes of the Civil Rights movement, the lack of support for Liberia even tho it was where they sent the freed slaves from the Civil War and don't get me started on Friendly Fire I think Britain lost more soldiers to the Americans than we did to the Iraqi army, while all this money is being spent on foriegn wars who's supporting the Farmers and the small businesses and all those that need state help.

Rant over for now, I'm tired and I'm P***ed but in the words of Arnie I'll Be Back

Bush is fighting to get a law(?)/amendment(?)[sorry, little fuzzy on the facts] passed defining marriage as only between a man and woman, thus undermining any states that might want to permit same sex marriages.

Sorry I was p****d last night, Bush is a warmonger like his old man, there is not really a lot we can do about it, the Americans voted for him they have to put up with him, maybe they'll think twice about it

Nope. I read about a country music star recently who said "Thank God Bush won". I was thinking NOT.

There will always be people like that unfortunately though..

JEllen, of course it was a close thing and didn't Bush win on a technicality, I was actually routing for Gore because Bush sounded to much like his old man with the policies and the foot-in-mouth gaffes

And while we're on a 'I-wasn't-my-fault' line here I didn't vote for Blair either with good reason he want's to stick 400+ asylem seeker in a disused Fleet Air Arm base in a lovely little seaside village near where I live

My worst fear is that someone just like Bush will wind up running against him in the next election. That would be terrible. I wish Gore would run again, but he won't.
