the problem in America is that each state is like a country with different laws, yet they all make up one country, which has laws, so it is a screwed up system where there isn't totally unity of 1 country!

sad but true.
democracy is just another way to vote in a dictator. to me democracy is letting the people decide.
let the people decide whether to go to war or not. the public didn't get a say in the iraq issue.
let the people decide what currency to use. pretty sure we won't get too much of a choice in this one neither.
let the people decide where the specific taxes go. and then maybe we wouldn't lose track of billions of pounds and let our roads and NHS go to sh*t.
